can anyone explain to me how WX is ZYC's aunt? at first i thought it was a joke but then in ep.24 it's confirmed that she is, but how? I know that she got adopted by the director of the demon bureau but he isn't connected to ZYC in anyway though?

i wish, felt like that might have made the story even better🤔 and her character more unique, cause i have never seen a female lead with a split personality in a C drama🤔

even if it they divide it into two parts, it still have to be max 40, i think? for. example "till the end of the moon" only has 40 ep in total, despite dividing into part 1 and 2?

Is it just me or is it hard to sympathize with the characters...I`m someone that is easily touched and therefore cries easily but this drama is so hard to get touched by the characters and all, the only exception is wan jie`s story. I love the cast (YCY acting may need more improvement, or it could be the director's fault for bad directing), storyline and novel but it feels like the director, screenwriter and editor destroyed it...and i felt like if this had more episodes it would have been a little better. Like i saw in an interview that Jeremy Tsui favorite scene was where he confesed to her after killing chong zi for the first time, but they chose to cut it and when i saw bts i found alot of other scenes that were filmed but weren`t in the drama.

I think it may feel out of nowhere beacuse they are rushing the plot. There is a lot of things that happens in the novel but there is a maximum of 40 ep cause of chinas drama restrictions, so they try to rush and make it all fit...one notices it from the terrible editing and sometimes bad writing.

Agree! But i hope they dont whitewash/glorify the male lead 2much. But i don't want him to be as cruel as in the novel

Me reading that alot of ppl hate the councilor min yun zhong🙄 me2. And then having read some of the novel, thinks: wait till u meet his niece..😅 haven't read the whole thing but felt she was as bad or worse🙄
