Why is Song of the Moon listed as related content to this drama (see top info box)? How are they related?
because this is story is actually the prequel to song of the moon, plus i think luo ge in song of the moon is descendant of male lead in this drama since they have the same surname
I like the cast especially Jeremy tsui and YCY and the plot is interesting. But having seen 6 ep now, I can say terrible editing and sometimes nonsensical writing which is so annoying! You can clearly see that they are rushing the plot because of the 40 ep limit but like do u really need to rush it that much. Maybe try to change the plot a little so there will be no need for so much fast pacing, I had rather have a good storyline that doesn't stick to the novel than a drama that sticks to the novel by rushing so much and therefore making a bad series....The fast pacing also makes it hard to connect with the characters at the same time it makes some relationships weird for example zhuo hao, qin ke, mu yu and ching zi... like wth. And its way to similiar to hua qian gu, there are way too many similarities!! The song at the start of each ep is also bad! I really like LYN but this song its just all over the place i feel..sadly... I will only continue to watch bcuz of the leads and having read the novel, im curious how the ending is gonna be. Cause almost every xianxia drama these years have tragic or terrible ending, its honestly like they are doing it on purpose like they are being forced to do so. Cause lets be real 2 or 3 dramas with tragic ending is kind of fine but when its more than that then its just sus and annoying cause honestly who would ever think that audiences like tragic endings (then i mean in xianxia dramas). And seriosly who wrote that spoiler of synopsus plot *sigh* PS! From reading the last part of this novel and connecting the dots, i found out that song of the moon is actually the sequel to this series (2nd in the book series). This plot is basically before song of the moon and if im not wrong then master luo yifan is luo ge (ml from SOTM) ancestor
