Right? It's such a downer when under so many shows you go to read comments and all you can find is hatefulness and rudeness! MDL has become extremely toxic lately, it's really a shame!

I feel you, but if you've read the book you know there's not that much of a plot to it in the first place😅 though I appreciate how the development is focused on how much communication and honesty are important in a relationship, rather than the usual drama, third party interfering, etc I feel like a well written/well thought out story will keep being a little out of our reach until they'll keep on adapting popular but amateurishly written books instead of trying their hands at original screenplays written for television.. but that's just my thought. Obviously there's some pretty good adaptations out there, and that's mostly cause they realised that they can change some things cause what works on paper won't necessarily work on screen!

Cutie pie is a "feel good" kind of story, not much drama or plot, and I'm honestly enjoying it exactly cause of that, cause I can just sit back and smile at all the fluff without the drama. I think it's doing incredibly well in terms of popularity even internationally, so they're probably gonna milk it for all its worth, and having MaxNat on their hands, if they're willing, I think they'd be crazy not to use them for a sequel when they already have an established fanbase for both them and the series ... but that's just my opinion.. NB plot wise if VERY different from CP, but like you, I do hope we could get a better writing team for its adaptation if we ever get one

I agree that they changed some things, but all in all I think it's perfectly possible cause NB is set a few years after CP and the premise is that Yi and Diao are engaged but not together as a couple at the beginning of the book. And here in the series they're not engaged nor a couple either. In CP the book Diao did try to seduce Yi when Yi was drunk, which is sort of what happened in the past episode. I think if they keep this vagueness up, with them dancing around each other but not really going anywhere, it's perfectly possible to have a NB series that's gonna start just like the book, *SPOILER ALERT FOR NB* when diao decides he's had enough of yi and leaves. On Syn and Nuea, I agree.. but a sequel series could give them more screentime to develop that relationship, and since it's not based on the books, they could literally take it everywhere, the actors have great chemistry

I know there's still 5 episodes left so anything can happen, but with how they've been playing with yi/diao, I'm pretty sure that they're establishing them for their own series based on their book "naughty babe". Cause everything is very vague right now and very far away plot wise from their book.. which suits them just fine, considering they can't squeeze NB into cutie pie, yet they need the characters for the CP plot.
Honestly, if they were to announce a Naughty Babe series once CP ends, I would DIE of happiness

All in all it was a pretty decent start, and I'm quite happy even though it didn't blow me away. I'm trying to watch it while keeping my expectations low and not seeing everything as absolutely amazing just cause we've been waiting for this for a long time. I mean the rating it has right now seems a bit excessive for just one episode which wasn't flawless nor issues free. It's sad that other pretty solid shows aren't given the same treatment just cause they're not as popular.

Anyway, as an italian I had to roll my eyes at the italian mafia bit, but what can you do. Still, I applaud that they actually hired an italian actor to play the part, and that the actor actually spoke in sicilian dialect in a couple of scenes (even if clearly that was not his dialect). That's an added layer that no one but other italians I guess could see, but they still made an effort, so kudos for that. Kinn is doing business with cosa nostra, sicilian mafia, in case you were wondering.

Apo was pretty great. In the novel sometimes you really want to smack porsche and I think that apo conveys that personality very very well. I think he was a little bit lacking in some of the more serious scenes, but hopefully that's gonna improve with the episodes.
I think Kinn could have had a better introduction (they made him too much of a brat) but mile be there serving visuals so I'm not complaining.
I'm SO happy with the actor that plays kinn's father. He was my favourite character in 55:15 and he brings so much depth and calm and authority to Korn, he was an amazing choice.
I'm a bit disappointed in Barcode.. The scenes with the two brothers together were among my favourite in the entire episode, but his inexperience shows a little too much. Hopefully he's gonna gain more confidence in the later episodes.

My main issue with the episode tbh was with sound. It was way too loud at times, so loud that I had a hard time following the dialogue. The songs they chose for the actions bits were pretty great, but some scenes' bg music was a bit questionable, though that's a personal preference. The bigger issue with sound though has to do with the fight scenes. The choreography for the fight scenes was FREAKING AMAZING, and so was the camera work, which is why it's disappointing that the sound effects for punches and kicks and such were almost cartoon-y. I really really hope they fix that cause clearly they went big with the production, it'd be a shame to see it taken down a notch in quality due to something so stupid as overly fake sound effects.

All in all I really liked it, and I can't wait for VegasPete and more KinnPorsche chemistry.
I saw some comments complaining about the first fight scenes/the chase being unrealistic cause no gun ever hit kinn even when he's surrounded by tons of armed people and I'm like.... have you never watched an action movie ever??? that's literally the premise of all action movies EVER. The hero never gets injured unless it's functional to the plot, that's how it goes!

BUT at the same time I applaud the effort of actually hiring an italian actor to play the part (which is already way more effort than for example hollywood puts into it)... fun fact, the subs for all the italian spoken in the ep were only about 8% accurate. I mean they conveyed the sense of what they were saying, but it was not at all what they were saying

So, GMM made a deal with disney hotstar for 3 series so far, never too late, 2gether the movie and cupid's last wish. Never too late hired on youtube for free at the same time for inter fans. The other two series did not. What do they have in common, compared to NTL? They're BLs. So what gives GMMTV?
Honestly, I don't get it. With earthmix as mains, each episode has the potential of surpassing over 1m views in like a day or two. They're losing big time. Hope disney gave them a lot of money for it, cause for sure they pissed off a lot of fans today.

I have disney + as well and I've tried the same thing and gotten the same results! I mean, I understand that watching it for free on yt would be the best option for every inter fan, but a lot of us also pay for it when we have to (for example, I also have a gagaoolala subscription and I happily pay for it cause I get a lot of interesting content, and I know it's the same for everyone, especially cause it's at a reasonable price). I'm upset cause we would pay for it if it was an option, but it isn't and that's just an awesome way to screw over a huge part of their fanbase, just like for example love stage is doing as well. Joke's on them cause people are still watching anyway and illegally. It'll be the same for CLW if they don't give us another option

So, it's not available on disney+ international, only hotstar, which is the thai one. Unlike with never too late, it seems like GMMTV will probably wait a few months to post it on their youtube channel and that's a very idiotic move on their part, cause who's gonna watch it then when someone is very likely gonna upload it somewhere right now for us to watch for free? Like, the only money they grab from inter fan is through their youtube account via ads, and this way they're getting none of it. Who advised them to do that? If disney hotstar is not available for inter fans, then what is the point of not uploading on youtube? It's not like we could pay for it. Smh.

I'm using a paid vpn but it's not working for me either.. I've been trying for a while now and at most I'm getting the third teaser, but the episodes are gone. It's working from the wetv app (with the vpn) but I didn't wanna watch it on the phone. I don't understand what's wrong

I really don't get why the people who don't like it don't simply drop it, instead of coming here and insulting people for enjoying it? Seems like such a waste of time and effort when they could be doing something fun instead, or watch something more to their liking *shrugs*

Yes, i know that he was dreaming about it, but he could have been dreaming a memory. Don't forget that it comes straight after the scene in which mu ren is trying to remember what happened that night.. it's actually pretty genius how they framed the scene between the two, cause we wonder if that's exactly what happened or if it's all 100% li cheng's wishful thinking (considering he’s touching mu ren and all). That's the purpose of the scene.
I read a few comments of people complaining about the scene cause mu ren was drugged and so it wasn't sexy, so i thought people perhaps hadn't noticed that while for sure li cheng watched him masturbate that night, the bathtub sequence is most likely purely a fantasy, evidence being, they're wearing different clothes.

I'm pretty sure that the bathtub sequence is only li cheng's wet dream/fantasy based on what happened that night and not what truly happened that night... cause unless there's an error of continuity and nobody in the production noticed, mu ren is actually wearing different clothes than what he was wearing that night.. also in a previous scene we saw him take them all off (shocking li cheng), so why would he put them on again?
I'm pretty sure li cheng saw quite a few "interesting" things that night, that's why he's now fantasising about it and inserting himself into the fantasy, while also clearly being affected by what mu ren said on the rooftop (that he's willing to be a bottom)
