I am no die heart fan of JoongDunk but, I loved the series. It was because of many reasons, 01) It was such a non-toxic drama!!!! I saw the beautiful character development of everyone here and no one was left alone. From the main characters upto their families got the character development and no one was left alone.
02) Zero miscommunication!!! They always solve their shit during one episode and don't stretch out their fights upto 3 to 4 episodes. Some dramas are only about fights, but this is a zero miscommunication drama which I LOVE the most.
03) JoongDunk chemistry. I watched their early series too and I am so happy to say that their chemistry has improved lot more.
If you are a person going to watch the drama, people watch it. The comments here are always deceiving. This drama doesn't deserve that much hate, It was a beautiful journey for me.

Same!!!!! I watched this by mistake, but then I enjoyed the drama so much!!!! I came back to MDL to see if the series had a 2nd season (but there were none, 😥) and I saw that this was a drama that I dropped with all the negative comments??!! I was like, "Bro... WTF??"
TBH, I watched this by mistake, as I have dropped this with negative comments here. But anyhow, I had searched for this drama, thinking that this was another drama. Despite all this, I loved the drama, despite the negative comments here. Yes, the characters lack communication skills sometimes. Yes, we just wanna bang the main lead's head on a wall sometimes because that shit is so stubborn. Despite all that, the actor's chemistry was like fire! I saw that the first episode had been awkward for some people, but I sensed no such thing. The actors did great with their characters, and I loved the drama.
This story is totally recommended to people who love a slow burn story, minor plot twists, and a stubborn male lead.
I really had high hopes for this show but the drama indeed itself lives upto the name because the story is just fuxking crawling rn. I should have just binged it when this was over. God dammit.
TBH, to me, this story was golden because there was no toxicity and no annoying exes. Everyone is so understanding and so lovely. It is really hard to find a series without toxicity nowadays. The series had so many negative comments that they delayed me from binge-watching this masterpiece, I am so sad about it D: Maybe it is true that there were not many kisses, but, a BL is not just kisses. The story was heartfelt and so calming. What I loved again was that this series focused on only 1 couple, and they did justice to them.
