I don't want Nakan to get away with killing Tonkla, just because he's on Tong and Mark's side now. Too many BLs have been letting characters get away with the bad things they do to others just because they did one right thing in the present. Like Tong from My Stand-In or Jin from Dead Friend Forever.
I think they should have done more episodes. Like not all 48 of the original, but at least 24. Cramming 48 episodes of events into 15 episodes makes it feel a little rushed.
hello, I've just watching this series and at 85 I get a little confused with who's who......Pun is from a wealthy…
I think No is at most upper middle class. His family lives in a pretty modest house compared to Phun's family. I think the women in the house might be boarders who do chores around the house to earn their keep.
I can't remember if I made a comment on this page before or if the comment I made about this show was on a Reddit thread. Anyways, I felt nothing for the protesters. The show did nothing to make me feel any sympathy for them. Oppressive school rules were mentioned as existing, but the show never went into those rules. Because of that, the protesters come off as three rich boys complaining about having to wear school uniforms.
I like that they were able to condense this down to fifteen episodes, from the forty eight from the original. It helps that they decided not to tell every character's stories though. If I remember the original correctly, the two biggest storylines were PhunNoh, and Jeed's journey into becoming her school's mean girl, with a bunch of side stories thrown in. Even though I'm left wondering how the Jeed of this version became like she was, I'm glad that they were able to trim down so much.
I can except the ending if they really never escaped the house. I'm still upset that Phee would still choose to be with Jin though. I understand that in Phee's mind, Non cheated. However, if you're saying you want justice for someone, you don't then turn around and date one of that person's biggest tormentors. Up until the point where Tee handed Non over to the gangsters, Jin was the one that violated Non the worst by leaking that child porn sex tape of him.
I'm also sad that White had to die. He was the only true innocent at that house during the present day events.
I could swear I made a comment like this a couple days ago, but I can't find it anywhere, so I'm gonna make it again. I do understand New questioning if Phee ever really loved Non. Phee allowing himself to fall for one of Non's tormentors makes a fair point for New. Honestly, it's making me think that Phee might even protect Jin from any legal repercussions for releasing that sex tape. I'll make a comparison from Western pop culture to this situation. Any one who is American in this comment section might know this. It's from the show Glee. It's from the sixth season, when Kurt broke up with Blaine again, and Blaine begins to date Kurt's former high school bully Dave a little while later. People were absolutely appalled that Blaine could even bring himself to date Dave, after everything he put Kurt through, with Kurt even having to transfer schools because of how much Dave terrorized him.
I feel bad for Net. His acting career is built on NetJames. I'm not just saying that, comments on here, X, Instagram, everywhere people could possibly comment on this situation, are showing Net that his career is dependent on James. People refusing to watch or saying they should just recast both roles, or just cancel the show all together, just because James isn't gonna be in it anymore.
It is exhausting, because it has to keep being repeated. People keep saying that "oh Non approached him", "Non…
There was a perfect example you should have given in your comment though. That TikToker/teacher Luke Rockwell who got arrested in Thailand last year for having sex with a sixteen year old girl.
