Let me just say this, if Way were played by a different actor, I'd probably be hating on him like a lot of other people are right now. I've just adored Supanut ever since the first time I watched Oxygen. As hard as I try to look at the character Way, as a separate entity from Supanut, I just can't bring myself to hate that face.
It's Supanut's face. If Way were played by a different actor, I'm sure I'd be calling him out like everyone else. Certain actors just draw me in and I end up not being able to hate any character they play. Same thing happened to me when I watched Newwie in The Warp Effect, I just couldn't bring myself to hate on the character Alex, because he had Newwie's face. I'll even give an American series as another example. Under the Dome. The character Junior Rennie kidnapped his ex girlfriend and kept her locked up in his family's fallout shelter. However, when probably all other people were calling Junior a psycho, I was so drawn in by the actor Alexander Koch, that I couldn't bring myself to hate Junior.
I'm hoping the PeteWay stuff goes somewhere, and everyone involved aren't just misleading the fans or giving false hope that somethings gonna happen, if it's not gonna happen. All I know is that Way's ending in the book doesn't involve happiness.
All I know is that if I were lucky enough to be with someone that looked like Khun, I'd be thanking my lucky stars, not cheating on him with the next door neighbor.
Just finished the novel. Damn, Way isn't a good guy in it. He tries to use his powers to get Babe to sleep with him. I feel like the series will include that part in it. You guys know how these BL shows like to include SA. That being said, I probably still won't be able to hate Way. I do feel guilty for saying that, but I just can't hate Supanut.
