well said! this show gives me ww2 vibes because i heard many stories from my grandma how the kids who just graduated from soviet schools and were having fun in June had to pick up the arms and go to war right from the school desks, and a few of them survived. It's horrifying. This is my favorite drama of all times.
"don't deserve their endings"? excuse me? this is not a jury court, this is the story about war. There is no justice in war, and the drama definitely doesn't have to satisfy the viewers. As much as it's the commercial industry, it's still art. You didn't pay attention, because it wasn't "as it's used to be". The war destroyed the futures of the students, and now they can't go back to the "normal life" anymore. I have an impression we didn't watch the same drama.
Came here to say there wasn’t honestly no point in having a part 2 because let’s be honest. What did it achieve?
it showed how cruel the war is. the war ruins not only lives but minds as well, and nobody who has ever held a gun is able to "come back to normal life". PTSD included.
Sorry, but this series is pretty dumb. The humor doesn't work for me, the characters have no personality, and…
no, you wouldn't take it seriously. it's nice to have a good picture about yourself in mind but it's not reality. nobody can predict how they would act in extreme circumstances. yes, they didn't take the military training seriously, they just wanted to get the points. nobody thought the spheres gonna drop and kill people. human nature is very frivolous, especially in high school. i definitely would not think of real danger when I'm in high school running with a gun and taking stupid videos with friends. the show is ultra realistic, forget the aliens and the plot holes, and that's what scares yall. you just wouldn't survive.
I don’t think I can continue this, seeing this immature irritating students making my blood boils and losing…
you really think you would be better? lol. it's a miracle if you all don't shoot at each other the first day. wake up! real life is much harsher than imagination
wow, he really is incredible in Duty After School! i can't think of any actor who would do better than 안도규. I was scared of Kook Yeong Soo to the bone and felt pity for him in the beginning. Such a smooth transformation! 수고했다, 안도규!
I am feckin stunned. This is incredible, why people complain? there is absolutely nothing technically wrong with the story, except i would cut the final final rap battle scene.
