I am doing a rewatch and hating all over again the deranged mother and drunken BFF. I hate the way they just walk into bedrooms, bathrooms, apartments unannounced. I hate that the mother would rather see the FL and ML miserable AF than in love.

There is a comment above by @Cora critiquing the good, bad, and ugly of the series in a truly constructive and hilarious way so that even though one may not agree with every point, it's a super fun read. So much more interesting than people whining about being bored, etc.

I agree and really hope she finds some other work that fulfills her or a better station. She's so much happier now and had a lovely night's sleep without all of those meds.

I think that although they didn't marry or openly commit to a relationship, the love between them is real and they just have an open relationship that won't actually ever let anybody else in.

As I noted below, I skipped to the end because the suspense was going to kill me.

I wouldn't exactly say they are not together and just work together. The love is real. They are not defining the relationship and putting restrictions on it, but it is clear they love each other deeply and won't be with others. That's my hopeful opinion. But they do tell each other I love you.

After posting I just skipped to the last episode because i couldn't bear the suspense and needed to know definitively, and while they are indeed working together, the love is clear and real. Not sure if they will marry in the future, but it is clear that they love each other and they will only ever love each other and they say I love you. So, I am satisfied.

Gu Yan has turned into a seriously conceited yet dangerously deeply insecure bastard and he's so stupid that he still doesn't get that He Han doesn't give two fucks about him or his success. He Han also didn't care about any of the insults the asshole was hurling at him, but when he started trashing Lin Zhan Qiao, all bets were off and that's when he got his ass beat. I so loved that.

Gu Yan's treatment of Zhan Qiao was sooooooo bad, but he soon found out that he's made a deal with two devils and both he and his friends will pay for him not only following the evil bitch but becoming evil himself.

I also hate that Zhou Mei continues to help the evil bitch, but I think that she and the FL both feel sorry for her because nobody really gives a toss about her. Her parents would trade her in for a luxury Mahjong set, lol.

Lastly, what was Cai Zhang Zhu smoking or drinking that gave her the courage to dare to make a move on He Han? Hasn't it been made very clear by both his actions and the dinner convos the girls have at home that the man still deeply loves our FL? And from the way she was seriously sobbing in the taxi, did she honestly think she had a shot? That to me was the craziest.

Yes, her obsession with him is extremely annoying. Like, sweetie, you know he loves Zhan Qiao to bits. I initially thought she had a crush on him but then thought, oh, maybe she's just a huge fangirl, but then she crossed the line. He's kind to you, little girl, because you work for the most important person in the world to him. He's not even a real Cassanova. He will flirt like crazy but he doesn't actually kiss or make love to those women.

I get what you're saying. He was able to shut her up when he dared her to complain to her father about the boyfriend being fired and then also told her to take a shot at killing herself, which was interesting.

That's a good point. The kiss was definitely spontaneous, but I think a curiosity existed and now the feelings are starting to grow. Where I am from curiosity is enough for a kiss, lol.

IMHO, and I think many others will agree, if it's "just not clicking," just keep stepping and move along. There's no need to announce you're bored. That's not constructive criticism and is such a downer and more important, who cares? It just gets tiresome, especially when so many are having such fun with the series.
