I like to think the couple lasted. She was his true first love and he was so unhappy during that time apart. He just needed time to grow up and knowing that she will leave him is great incentive. I think we saw today the mother feels free to tell her husband to just stop. And she really just wants him to find love, preferably with Flora. She's also treading carefully because this is the first time she's witnessing her son in love.

It's not just him, but also the harsh realities of the real world. Something really, really bad that has nothing to do with them also happens,

I was up at all crazy hours watching dramas before I went to Paris, lol, though I tried to tame the habit before my trip.

I blame MDL, lol. This habit started when I discovered this site while watching Our Generation and people were commenting during all of the weird should be working/studying, late night, middle of the night, wee hours from different time zones. It was a fun time.

The parents also lived abroad for some time during his formative years and allowed him to stay at home because he didn't want to move. I think he feels close to his mother but keeps her a bit at arm's length so she doesn't go overboard and she also feels free to tell him he's a bit of a weirdo.

He wanted her to stay so he could care for her and ensure she healed well. He was also consulting his mother who is a physician. She probably only slept on the sofa for the first few hours and then spent the nights in the guest room.

He was joking!!! She realized that he bought all of that stuff for her when she saw her prescription or whatever it was.

She's acting like he has all of these women coming in and out of his bed, which couldn't be farther from the truth, and that was his response because he's rude like that. He is falling and/or has fallen in love with her. He also shared with all of his buddies that he has someone for whom he cares quite deeply and that someone is her.

I'm sure I will cave next week. The Nevertheless guy is one of my faves.
