OMG. When he was standing on that platform surveying his men and surroundings and ate that candy with, as you noted, a smirk, he was, like, soooooooo cool!!! I had to replay that a couple of times. Also love how he's not sharing!

I feel pretty confident that our ML hero is going to kill him after one of his men told him that the maniac tried to molest his wife.

I think she was the maniac's nanny.

I just rewatched the episodes and the scenes of him nursing her just took my breath away.

Dress warmly if you're in a cold climate. They gave me chills!!! I didn't cry, though, lol.

I think it's because he loves her as if she really is her child. He also plans to marry his wife for real and raise the little girl together.

It sounds fine. I thought it was his voice until I read here he was dubbed.

He'd just spent all of that time nursing her back to health and obviously didn't think the gift he gave her was worth falling off a cliff. Also, he deepened his voice so she wouldn't recognize him. I think he left because he's got business to take care of and also wants to take revenge on the crazy dimpled brother who dared to try to sexually assault his wife.

They only have eyes and hearts for each other and she is a badass fighting queen whom even some men fear.

I'm not a historical drama fan but signed up for this because of him. :)

Also, I can't imagine that at least one of his nosey blood-robed soldiers won't tell her. Or maybe she'll hear them gossiping about it because they were so amazed.

Today's episodes are giving me chills!!!

I forgot to set my alarm but my body clock woke me up at 6:07 and cried, "It's time! Watch!"

I know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm feeling like the forced kisses was him totally succumbing to the desire/sexual frustration he's been holding for the past several days and wanting to kiss her before he leaves. And they are so surprisingly young that they don't know what's right or wrong, I do wish he'd told her how he's falling in love with her and being a family with her so I am giving him a tiny bit of a pass because they are so young and inexperienced.

Also, once he's gone, she's missing him sadly and not thinking about the kiss. The birthday gift showed her that he cares. And he stopped to look at their home and her before going off to war.

I am so surprised by how much I am enjoying this because I seriously do not watch these costume dramas. Still, I am looking for some that have lots of romance and not too much fighting and court intrigue so welcome suggestions.

I adored him in The Best Thing and Our Generation.
