So why does Teacher Lee keep changing his story. First its Bu Yeon soul is dead now her soul is alive but Naksu will die. The storyline seems inconsistent.
Great article! I also went back and read the other 2 great articles you wrote on this topic. Looks like the "win" went to Gu Man with 3 dramas on the list out of the 15. I also really liked her novel adaption Silent Separation/You Are My Sunshine.
How many times did viewers (or, at least folks here on MDL) say that Jin Bu-yeon didn't deserve to live/survive…
I'll be extremely disappointed if in the end Naksu dies and Jang Uk ends up with Jin Bu Yeon as I don't believe Jang Uk has actually met the person who is Jin Bu Yeon (he's met her body but not her), as all of his interactions have been with Naksu. I'm also very disappointed with the direction they have taken Heo Yun Ok.
So did I miss the explanation of why Yul decided to keep it secret from Jang Uk that Bu Yeon is Naksu? Also, was Yul really thinking about murder/suicide with Naksu or was it just another one of his recurring dreams that he kills or is killed by Naksu. So looks like both Naksu and Jang Uk are living under a death threat (Naksu dies if Bu Yeon powers come back and Jang Uk dies if the ice stone is removed). Are the Hong sisters setting us up for both leads dying at the end (I'm still ticked that they killed off the female lead in their last 2 dramas)?
I am still confused why the late king slept with ML's mother. Why was he trying to have a kid and why did he chose…
I agree she thought it was her husband but it wasn't and she wasn't given the facts (man was the king and not her husband) to make an informed/valid consent. Sex without consent is rape.
Episode 35: FL warned not to trust An Xi Yuan as An Xi Yuan is just trying to get her to do something stupid. FL: "I understand" and immediately races off to do something stupid... I hate stupidity.
Don't like the direction they went with Dang Gu/Cho Yeon and don't agree with Cho Yeon that Dang Gu is to blame for her father's death. Hopefully, he finds someone much, much better than her (but I'm sure that won't happen).
So I hated the endings of the last 2 Hong sisters dramas , so I've been hesitant to start this in case we get another bad ending. What are the odds we get a decent ending to this drama?
I feel sorry for the actors as it must have been freezing cold during production as I can see the actors breaths even in the indoor shots. They must not have heated any of the buildings.
SAMEEEEE i love those 2 drama they ar my fav but TKIAR is my MOST fav
Night of Love with You was also a really good drama. Kinda similar to Extraordinary You as it takes place in a manhua, with the FL mistakenly made to be the protagonists, instead of the antagonist. ML is the villain.
I've always struggled with dramas and novels that end like this. Did she really end up with the hero or just a doppelganger? Certainly they have no shared past or memories. But several dramas and novels that have used this same ending.
The more I watch the more I am convinced the fairies are evil, discriminatory, bullies and a bunch of hypocrites…
I think Jiu Lu Fei Xiang used this same trope in another of her novels (which became the drama The Legends), where the gods were evil and the demons were good.
The FL's hairstyle is a joke. She looked so much better in the flashback scenes. Not sure why directors feel the need to try to make the FL lead look unattractive.
In the webtoon, Yura didn't disclose Hari's relationship but in the drama they brought this unnecessary event.…
Thanks! It sounds like the drama would have been better if they had followed the webtoon and not included this event. I guess we should just be thankful that the drama wasn't the usual 16 episodes or who knows what other unnecessary events they might have included...
Overall, a enjoyable drama with a cohesive plot.
