So with only one episode remaining, we seem to be at the same place we were at the start of this drama except, hopefully, the FL is now completely serious in moving on and getting over the ML. The ML is unfit to be in any relationship with anyone and one episode is not enough time to address his massive problems. Through this entire drama we have watched the FL continually try to get back together with the ML, while the ML continuously rejected her. His rejection of her in episode 11 occurring as it did was hopefully a true wake up call to the FL. Even if the leads get back together at the end of the final episode, it will be hard to believe that it's anything but temporary and that there is no real HEA waiting for this couple.

The description sounds like it's a remake of a Thai drama.

Watched the first episode and thought that the drama is off to a great start!

We are half way through this drama and the ML has made it very clear that marriage is not for him and that he would have done anything to escape his marriage to the FL. We have seen nothing that would indicate that any second attempt at marriage by the leads would result in any different outcome than the first attempt. At this point, I think the FL is better off without the ML. Also, since she feels nothing for the SML, she's probably better off without him too. But if she has to pick one of the two, I'd vote for the SML, as I don't think he will dump her like the ML will.

I Have A Lover (2015) features a divorced couple (actually, first 10 or so episodes show the destruction of the marriage). This is more of a soap opera-ish (makjang) drama not a pure rom/com - has romance, cheating, backstabbing, amnesia, twin switching, etc.

Given the nature of the drama, I fully expect 1) that the ML didn't physically cheat on the FL (and I'd be surprised if he even emotionally cheated on the FL) and 2) that by the end of the drama they will be back together. Anything else would be rather shocking (and this doesn't appear to be the type of drama that is going for shocking). However, given what I've seem so far, this drama has a long way to go before a happy ending is anything but unpleasant to me (lol - I have my standards!)

Oh I agree, he was probably in pain, but his pain was self inflicted. But its hard for me to think of any scenario where what he did wasn't completely disrespectful to the FL and his marriage. But maybe they will convince me otherwise by episode 12...

I agree, no reason can be so important that he would rather be labeled a cheater than discuss it with the FL. At a minimum, he has no respect for the FL and their marriage.

Hmmm - I consider noble idiocy a betrayal. The noble idiot has no respect for the person they are being a noble idiot to, and are comfortable causing them massive amounts of pain because of their basic disrespect of that person. (lol as you can see I hate noble idiots as much as cheaters).

After watching the first 2 episodes, I think it will be hard to root for the leads to get back together. Either the ML cheated on the FL or best case he placed the needs of a female friend over his marriage and the FL thus causing the FL 3 years of pain. Either way, I'm not sure the FL should ever trust him again as it appears she and their marriage was never his top priority. I think it will be even worse if it turns out that he preferred to allow the FL to mistakenly believe that he cheated on her "to protect her" as that would show a complete lack of respect for the FL. Kinda like those "noble idiots" who to avoid causing future pain, decide to inflict massive pain currently.

After the first episode, I'm definitely hoping that the leads do not get back together. Once a cheater, always a cheater. Guess I'll have to see how the storyline plays out to see if he really cheated.

Not the best drama, but it was at least somewhat watchable. At times, the plot was disjointed and the actions of some of the characters were inconsistent and confusing. In addition, the above synopsis implies a romance between Ah Lin and Xia Qing and early on it appeared that the drama might go that way. However, a new character, Xiao Yang (who isn't even listed as part of the cast), was introduced halfway through the drama as the romantic interest for Xia Qing. Ah Lin had almost no screen time after Xiao Yang joined the cast.

Nope - Lin Chu Xin kissed Shi Jing Hao but don't recall Xia Qing ever kissing anyone. Oddly, the person Xia Qing ends up with (Xiao Yang) isn't even listed under the cast

2021/2022 Dramas:
Lighter and Princess (Chinese) A modern-day youth, business drama which depicts the romance between a bad boy IT genius and a perfect good girl. The drama has strong intelligent leads who face betrayal and team up for revenge.

Love Between Fairy and Devil (Chinese) A fantasy romance from the same writer as The Legends which depicts the forbidden romance between a cold-hearted demon lord and a naïve, innocent fairy. The drama includes body swaps and hidden identity.

A Business Proposal (Korean) A modern day rom/com done right. Also had an enjoyable secondary romance.

Fall in Love (Chinese) A Republican era drama featuring a super smart lead couple who was always two steps ahead of everyone else.

You Are My Hero (Chinese) A drama featuring a military captain and a medical doctor who face various military and medical emergencies.

You Are My Glory (Chinese) Drama follows former high school classmates who meet 10 years later when he's an aerospace engineer and she's a famous actress who needs help mastering a game in order to avoid losing an endorsement.

The Hong sisters redeemed themselves and gave us a fantastic ending. This is now my favorite of all their dramas.

Jin Mu the ultimate energizer bunny - he never dies!

Not a big fan of Yul. I hate "Doing if for your own good" because you might feel pain in the future so I will just inflict it on you now. In keeping Naksu's identity secret, he was taking away both Naksu's and Jang Uk's ability to make their own decisions about their own life. At least Master Lee had a reason for keeping it secret in that he promised Jin Ho Kyung that he would do so. Yul had no valid reason to do so other than plot device.

They didn't seem to care about anti-fans when they killed of the FL in their last 2 dramas.

Hopefully the Hong sisters got their killing spree of the ML/FL out of the way at the end of Season 1. At least we can hope so.
