This character is a disruption to the natural flow of the rest of the story. It is so jarring when she appears and boy does she appear often 🫣 I just have to ff, there is no basis for her to be on screen so often. Like what for 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think at this stage his father loves him and is teaching him the hard way to survive. The emperor has had too many opportunities to punish his disobedient son and has not as yet, just slightly reprimanded him here and there. He also lets him run rampant in the city and be in charge really. I say at this stage because I hope they do not have a major disagreement and it can all change. The Prime Minister is sinister as we know and his daughter the concubine, usual evil trope trying to get her son 2 nd Prince on the throne. That doctor woman is also suspicious aswell or just maybe dumb not sure yet but definitely a trouble creator.
