Here to agree with all of you. I am faceblind and what you guys wrote is correct. I can see just fine and if someone hands me a picture and I can compare side by side, it works just fine (looking at you Dr. Park in Ep2 or 3^^). The problem is, it does not stay in your memory.
When my friends ask me how it feels, I always explain it that way:
Imagine if someone showed you a big Sudoku grid full of colors or numbers (if you don't like math :P) , you can stare at it all you want, you can even try to memorize it, I would bet if you are asked to find the same one in hundreds of very similar looking Sudokus, you would have troubles to recognize it. That's what happens with faces. If it is something very distinct (a Sudoku with only Green or only 2s) then of course it is easy and if it is someone you have seen all your life it is also possible to recognize but our brains just don't have the "function" to store the "face pattern". And now imagine, you have learned one Sudoku pattern, and you know it by know and then someone randomly switched about 10% of the numbers around without telling you and again, you are asked to find it in a biiiig pile of grids, there is almost no way to find it. That's exactly what happens to me if a person suddenly changes hairstyle for example. And that, I can tell you leads to some very awkward situations... :)
