Actually i drop this drama when episode 8, but i'm really like zhaoliying and then i give second try, unexpected this drama so good after 18 episode this story, the smooth and the character become interesting, and now even without subtitles i'm actually watched in raw

Ting ye (male lead) already have children with his mistreess (not married) and he take responsible to take care of them..he not fall in love.. they separate because he know that woman not really love him but love his status and liar to him about her story (like trap him)
The end this woman died and her son also died.. (before pass away she become trouble between male and female lead)

After that he married legitimate wife but this wife also cheat him with her cousin.. (also died)

In this time he know ming lan but maybe he think ming lan so young and minglan call him uncle.. they dont develop any feeling even they study together and so on.. but fate always make them face each other.. and he fall in love with her.. fall in love and this feeling he not have with others.. first time he fall in love with ming lan.. but not easy to make minglan wife.

When he become successful general he ask sheng family to married..but ming lan not legitimate child so they give rolan to him..rolan have lover and he know about that..so he trap them to change rolan with ming lan ( hahaha he smart)

Yan xu with princess liang (that princess spy)
Qiang chu youngers sister with yuan song (13 prince)
So i prepared myself dont fall in love between qiang chu and yan xu..even they are so cute because i dont want to cry frust.. so i always ask my heart to ship qiang chu with yu wen yu..
And dont compare this drama with external love.. bcause that drama more passionate love.. for me i more excited to watch this one... because full of fighting.. love start slowly
