Intense
When I first heard of this drama coming out, you best believe I went nuts.The cast looked great, the trailers looked delicious, and some things felt like I shouldn't have even been in the room watching.
This BL is downright filthy (in the best way).
Very adult, and not a soft BL like many of us are used to. Touching, sexual tension, fighting, budding romance, but with darker topics (a trigger warning to many that don't like said topics).
Trigger Warning: Drugs, kidnapping, violence, etc.
Aside from some questionable story decisions, I was absolutely hooked on this drama and left wanting and craving more.
It's been a year or more since I watched this, and I still think about them.
SO so steamy. And worth it.

Bromance
10/10 ALL AROUND.What can I say? I've watched this drama well over 5x. I love them so much.
Most of the cast is eye candy in their own unique ways. The story is so complex that there's something new to discover with each rewatch. It took me well over 3x to understand parts of the story.
Plot twists were insane and just kept coming every time I booted up this drama again.
And, if you're here from the novel and disappointed about the lack of BL, the bromance mask tells their love for one another pretty well. That's coming from me, who never knew this was based on a novel, the first time I watched. You could just tell it was romance.
This story will make you cry, make you laugh, and make you feel beautifully empty when you finish it. But there's so much to digest, you'll likely watch it multiple times, and it still never got old for me.
My favorite drama of all time, 100%.

So-So
Writing this review as I watch it.Episodes 1-6 are great. The whole reason I watched this was for the build-up and FL being disguised as a guy to get into the company. Alright fine. But he found her out around episode 4 or 5. Pretty fast for a 30-episode drama, right? Right. But I could get past that, with the thrill of how he was going to handle it. Though, of course, things happen, and he confronts her, and thus starts the whole " Let me stay here and work for you " part of the drama.
That's fine too, but as you reach episode 7, there's already talk of marriage!? Between the families, esp the ML's family. That's okay too, like let them talk. But FL jumps at the opportunity without even the ML's knowledge. His family got him drunk on purpose to make this happen, and that's the most horrible behavior from parents. I've always hated the arranged marriage crap dramas do, not giving their ADULT children their own options in life. While I know this is very accurate for places outside of America, it still sucks. While I do enjoy when arranged marriage ' blind dates ' get the leads introduced, I hate where they've taken it in this drama.
Now, at this point, I'm already losing interest and starting to feel annoyed with the FL. She's cute and all, but even I find her annoying now. Just because you like someone, it gives you no right to force yourself into their life like you have a rightful claim to them. This drama had me laughing a lot. Now I'm dreading watching past this, but I must carry on. But I'll very likely be fast-forwarding through it now because things are being rushed and I'm not liking either lead atm. So far, the 2nd ML is the most likable.
She wasn't disguised as a boy long enough. They could have spread this concept out in a couple more episodes, and not with him bullying FL, but feeling her out. But no. They just jump the gun and get straight to it, and mind you, we have 22 more episodes, and from the comments I've read, it only gets worse from here with a lot of misunderstandings, ML being horrible, FL being dumb [but finally getting a backbone near the end], etc.
So while I will not spoil any more, this concludes what I wanted to say. Just a warning, from episode 6 it all goes downhill, with a small uphill from here :)

1. I've watched this a few times solely because the main leads are cute/handsome, as well as the other swim team members. Who doesn't love eye candy??2. There is definitely chemistry. Some acting points may not be the best, but for the main leads, I quite liked their acting. I've seen worse, trust me. And there will be worse.
3. Side couples: I was hyped that there was a lesbian in this show, but they just ended up making her straight?? And she's a wacko. Obsessive, pushy, mean, a big bully, and cheating on her girlfriend (I think? I can't remember the best). But ofc they had to go and make the lesbian straight/bi. What was with that move? Why couldn't she stay the way she was?
4. There are some touchy scenes, like anger issues, especially from Waii. He's just very angry, and what he went through does not justify being physically mean to Apo at the start. Don't get me wrong. I love Waii and Apo together, despite the whole Waii basically (he did) cheating on his girlfriend thing. Emotionally cheating, esp.
I hate what they did to his gf. Bro was stringing her and Apo along, and things got so messy. She's a sweet girl, and it was unnecessary to even have her there if the plan was to just have her as a wall between Apo and Waii.

I love this drama, but it definitely has its flaws. But I would say you shouldn't go into this seriously. It's a comedy BL, and you really should just go in and watch it for some fun. I watched it 3 times so far. That says something (probably about me, but what can I say lol).
Try it, and if you don't like it, that's okay.

Alright
It was an alright watch.1. The leads are both very attractive. The pro of watching this was that I discovered the ML.
2. Some scenes were goofy and made me cringe. I can't lie about that. I love the actress for the FL, but man... .
3. I liked how the ML was. He was realistic. Mopey, a little silly, sweet. I mostly stayed for him.
4. This drama is silly and lighthearted. Not meant to be taken seriously. It's mostly for the goofy romance, not for action or fast-paced cool scenes. Think more realistically in terms of ML personality, with a splash of wtf.
5. It is horrible that they made the character with dreads act the way he did. I mean, making him act the way he did, flies buzzing around his hair as if to say dreads stink (when that isn't the case if taken care of). Idk, the whole thing with that character felt wrong.
6. While the chemistry between the leads wasn't the strongest, the drama still doesn't suck all that bad. Def feels sort of like a fever dream, but it still isn't completely horrible.
I watched this once before, but I don't think I can watch it a second time. It's alright.

Revenge
One of the few dramas I've seen with such a smart and headstrong FL.Fell in love with her character within the first Episode. Don't let the number of episodes deter you from watching. Once you get into it, you'll be praying you have one more episode as you get closer to the end.
Bittersweet, revenge, plot twists, friendships, this drama has it all.
Be ready for the tears to flow and the laughter and anger to ring out. You'll love, you'll hate, and you'll feel empty when it's over. You'll wish you could forget it all to watch it for the first time again, just like me <3.
Don't hesitate. Watch this ASAP.
Note: My guilty pleasure is that I absolutely love the emperor.

Tangerines
Every episode brought tears to my eyes. I originally came to this drama from a clip on YouTube of her daughter, thinking this drama would be about them, and I was totally wrong. I loved all the couples here. This was such a real and beautifully heart-warming experience.You watch their stages of life, all their struggles and happy moments, and while this is not a happy-go-lucky drama, it is a real one, with the ups and downs of life that are sometimes so painful you don't know how to go on. This will leave you thinking about things, taking things into a new perspective, and so much more.
Expect to bawl your eyes out, but also expect to be drawn in, and to laugh and feel things they felt with them. This drama was an experience, and it deserves all the awards it gets.

I'm Biased
I'm totally biased, because god I love them so much. Everyone is eye candy, and the main couple is adorable. I especially love how they acted around one another. Xia Yu Hao's reactions towards Qiu Zi Xuan were especially hilarious and adorable. He's just so cute.I adored the daydreaming scenes; he has such gay panic, I absolutely love them both. Side characters and couples are also really great, and I love the cast and acting. A favorite BL of mine in the HIStory series.
I've rewatched this a couple of times now, and more in the future. It's so good.

John Kim
I'm sooo biased. I can't even lie. This drama had me sucked in by all the eye candy, especially John Kim. Had dreams of that man. Everyone is so attractive, even the enemies. Watching this was a feast for the eyes, especially the scenes where the Main Leads' chemistry was super present. This was such an adult drama, and I loved it.I loved how the weight loss was gradual and not for revenge. John Kim is so sweet, we all want a man like him This was such a wholesome and great drama, aside from ya know... . you'll see. It has its moments that make you esp angry towards the ' bad characters '.
The little group they form is like their own family, and they're all cute too, and really funny. I enjoyed the side characters' romance journeys too. And while others say this story is all over the place, while I agree that it does not focus on John Kim, but it's still a fantastic watch.
Totally worth the time spent watching this, and I've watched it at least twice now, maybe more in the future. Hhh, I love them.

Best Duo
Man, I was really hooked on this drama. It was so funny, and I love how it delved into trauma.There was comedy, action, bromance, and friendship.
They're the best Duo. The romance was very little in this, and as a bl/bromance girlie, that was pretty great. It left room for me to fangirl over the two together. Best bromance, and given they're both eye candy, that made it even more fun. I love the Main lead in other dramas, and he is just as amazing in here.
Even if others don't think this drama lived up to the hype, I say forget all of that stuff and watch it as is. It was so so good. So emotional and thrilling.
Would I rewatch it? Maybe not. It was one of those I'd rather savor the first time.

Comrades
This drama was beautiful. Reasoning for a 9.5-star review is personal, heh.At first, I hesitated watching this; I put it off for the longest, and I deeply regret that, but I also feel glad I decided to pick it up.
It was totally not what I was expecting. If you're like me, and expected this to be more military themed. Like you know, I don't know how to explain. But it is a romantic comedy, with a good mix of angst.
Lots of funny moments, and characters you might not originally like, you may come to love closer to the end.
So many lovable characters, and halfway through, you feel attached. I feel heartbroken to have finished this drama so soon, but also glad I watched it and experienced this story.
If you're hesitating or putting it off, I'd say pick it up once you get the chance. It's really nice, and bittersweet as many would put it <3
