I had to drop it after ep11. Lee Yeonhee is the only reason I lasted that long, because she was fantastic in this. But the pacing was too slow, the plot and situations and actions and motivations made no sense, and worst of all, the horrible characters outnumbered the good characters and it made me frustrated and angry, wanting to strangle these fictitious people. I hate it when dramas pile it on with these evil villains.

This was damn good. I watched this 17 yrs after it first aired, but it was more gripping and powerful than any drama from the past year that I've seen. I got so into it that all the crazy, incredulous plot devices and ridiculous overacting on the part of one of the villains didn't take anything away from my enjoyment.
