this show doesn't have plot holes, it was plot WORMHOLES, as in the plot warps around. I'm really curious to what happens, and I like the characters, but the sheer amount of impossible and illogical bs is just so maddening.
Getting bolts into the vases not only by tossing them all at once, but also smacking them... Master died trying to pick a flower off a cliff, but supposedly very smart person that is not physically inclined decided she'd try the same... and then d00d thinks it's a good idea to mess and joke around when a normal person would likely lose their hold at anytime, omfghhh... d00d that pretty much outpaced a galloping horse while climbing and scampering on rooftops...
can anyone tell me why do the princes carry the metallic ladder kind of object covered with a cloth on their back?…
Imo, it is just bs. It doesn't exist in any other Chinese film. Travelers back then had back packs with overhanging cloth Above their heads to protect from shade. Backpacks would just hinder warriors, and the cloth in this show also just fly around. It seems to be just a visual identifier for important people. It's just complete bs like the leather "armor" that is worn in this show, which doesn't even exist in that time. I don't believe it exists in Any time in any place, because I couldn't even tell that it was armor at first, it's some kind of weird spandex suit.
for her role as Orchid in Fairy and Devil, her voice is kinda not match with her characters, but here it is fit…
I also thought she was annoying in Fairy and Devil, and I couldn't pass the first episode, but she's so cute here. I didn't even know it's the same person. I can't believe it.
I believe that the people that love season 2 did not care about Naksu as a person. It's not about the actress.…
Yes, all of that is obvious. You have to understand that, even if they're technically the same person because it is her soul, they're not really the same person.
The new Naksu had the personality of an infatuated school girl. Jang Uk had 7 fiances before Mu-doek. Most of them probably resemble the new Naksu, but he didn't fall in love with any of them. He fell in love with the cold and serious Naksu, exactly because she was like that. Those experiences make her the person that she is, and the new Naksu is not that. Only loving the same soul and transcending time and space is a very romantic idea, but it doesn't work in real life. Falling in love with a naive, immature mind is basically being a pedophile. She needs experiences to become a real woman before he can actually fall in love with her.
This is why he was confused and conflicted for all that time. His soul responded to her, but he was being psychologically tortured because she is a little girl.
S1>>>>s2.. season 1 is FAR BETTER than s2. No matter how hard i try to relate to buyeons character in season 2…
I believe that the people that love season 2 did not care about Naksu as a person. It's not about the actress. Mu Deok was Naksu. She was not Mu Deok. The person you watched through all of season 1 was Naksu. Season 2 FL was not Naksu. She was a pseudo Naksu with almost none of her personality. A completely different person. Jang Uk was forced to love a completely different person for 7 episodes. I guess some people find it cute and romantic for him to fall in love with a more innocent character... that is Not Naksu.
it's cute. FL is cute. ML is also cute. That's pretty much all you should be expecting. Their technical logic is terrible. Their idea of "hacking" is inputting dir on command prompt to show a bunch of files scrolling down the screen, lol. The "3A" game is no where close to 3A. Art department is offering suggestions to change the game mechanics and plot instead of... art. As others mentioned, as a light rom com, I enjoyed it. And there were some (really)funny moments, but there may be a cultural barrier for non-natives. Story's a little weak, and last few eps. were unsatisfactory. They also squeezed all the lovey dovey in at the end since they didn't have any through the rest of the show.
