Title Boys Planet
Haruto, Jay, Keita, Park Hanbin, Woongki, Kuan Jui, Wumuti, and Seunghwan should make their own group. I would…
+ Wang Zihao (Haruto husband), then it will be an excellent Top9.

What are her best dramas or movies? I like her in Lucky with You but I don't have the energy to finish that drama
From what I saw until now from her, I would say Across The Ocean To See You, a modern drama set in an office, story was good, her character was a strong and intelligent one. I began liking her from this drama.

I didn't go in-depth into the whole Shijie sequences but that one was badly shot from beginning to end. There…
Fortunately, I did not read the novel nor anything related to it, indeed the first experience of this drama is magical.
If I'm not wrong, most of these Chinese dramas are produced by online videos streaming websites -Tencent Video, iQiyi, Youku- which have tons of dramas/shows produced every year thus the crew will have a limited budget. I guess it would have been different if they had less productions, so that each drama could have been attributed to a better and bigger budget. But I am also wondering if it's just because most of the (already low) budget just go straight towards the CGI on these xianxia/wuxia Cdrama? So they have to kind of give up the details: extras, framing, reusing the same scene but filmed in different angles to fill up the episodes, and others, as the crew's concentration will be more on making those special effects. Or maybe they were just pressed for time, so they overlooked the details. So many options to list, but to know the answer, we can only ask the production team itself.
As for China having more of these dramas, I think it's a cultural thing, each country have their 'own story'. For example, Cdrama would be more focused on jianghu or Jdrama more with samurais. Yet as far as I know, Korea and Japan have probably nothing to do with this fantastical world of Chinese martial arts -they won't have their budget go all the way for special effects-.
Someone, make a Cdrama with high budget, so that we can enjoy it fully.
I appreciate your long reply, I keep learning ln a way; though I feel like I am the one who is talking too much haha

No, you're not alone. It did bother me when they showed the '3000 people' in that frame (first picture), I was like quick change the scene, because it felt awkward. Just as you said, they showed that scene not once but many times, in all kind of angles, it just frustrated me. Moreover, the fight scene (shijie last scene) was a mess, even just the fighting itself. Again with the 'thousands of warriors' thing. But also, too much space between the warriors/characters, how can you not see each other when they are just some steps away without any 'big hindrance'? Even I found it funny.
Although it bothered me, it was just for a few seconds, as the story, the acting, the music, the emotions made me forget those little mistakes here and there. But, I was prepared for these things to happen since this was a Chinese historical low-budget drama. Mistakes happens, and we do learn from them.
Anyway, it was an interesting educational article. Knowing basically nothing about cinematography, you made me learn the art of framing. Now I guess, when I will watch a drama, I can use this knowledge to see if the scene is awkward, weird because of the framing. Keep it up!

I just saw her in 'Must You Go?', and she looked familiar. I found out that she is sister with Dan-A (ex-MATILDA), maybe that's why she reminded me of someone.
But it's sad to know both sisters wanted to be idols but both didn't succeded (one left the agency, the group disbanded for the other).
Anyway, I hope both of them can do what they want.

I binge watched this in 2/3 days, I couldn't stop myself from watching it. I liked the many aspects of this drama, from different frienships, to competitions, without forgetting the different characters (of course not Wang Chong or Mu Qing Chun lol).
I just thought that near the ending (32+), it felt a little lacking I guess?
Neverthless, I enjoyed it. I agree with this being one of the best 2020 drama, or even more, one of the best Chinese drama.
Your article is well-written, grasping many elements of this drama. I hope more people will discover and watch it, because this is not just a drama, but a little gem.

Title Marry Me
Dang! I thought this is a light watch. It's still rather funny and silly with the 3 brothers, but it's moving…
Same, at first I thought it was a light, fluffy drama, I wanted to kinda give up, but I still continued (because Shane lol). And I'm suprised that it gets more serious, intriguing, and good.

If I'm not wrong, she had partial blindness, she can see but very blurred. But, yes, later she regain her eyesight.

Thanks for the info, was it any good?
I also appreciate Joe as an actor and I quite liked what I saw from the 4 episodes, so it's frustrating I can't continue.
