The ending looks like a sequel is also coming though !

The story felt missing certain components which made it into a poor script.
Kinda rushed ending, and the couple was okay but less time for the romance, and even not a strong revenge story.

But I like the healthy relationship between ML & FL.
Xu Zhen Zhen is the reason I gave it a watch !

I didn't remember any music made it inconvenient to watch though, but overall, it's so and so story.

And I recalled the drama again & did lowered my rating- Seems like I might have not on my good mind when I was watching it 😂

The script is trash. The acting, costumes, background props, and crew were all solid which I only gave my rating as a consideration— it’s just the script that pulled the whole thing downhill

And Zheng Feng… yeah, he’s a good actor trapped in questionable scripts half the time. I'd love to see him in good scripts too.

Sorry if that’s a spoiler! I just wanted to let you know since some people don’t like watching those types of stories.

I personally might rate them high depending on my mood, since I love the setting, colorful costumes, and the spicy drama 🔥

It’s amazing to find someone who gets the same guilty-pleasure vibes in these “trashy” verticals. I actually enjoy toxic or revenge-driven themes more than fluffy ones. I watch modern dramas too, but I especially love historicals, particularly the Republican era. Sci-fi isn’t really my thing though.

Feels like I found my MDL VD twin as well!
