This 2nd Season was Doomed to Fail
Like what I said in the headline, this whole season was doomed to fail.
They started out very strong in the first few episodes, yes, but from the very beginning this whole thing was not going to be successful. Problems started for them when the author decided to remove the omegaverse from the 2nd book, which angered so many fans, since that was the whole plot of the first book.
The reaction from the fans basically led the whole production into a scramble. When the director said that they will keep the omegaverse plot, a lot of fans became optimistic, and they continued to be optimistic until around episode 5, when everything became a mess.
By the time Episode 12 came out, all hope was lost.
Let's just say the only thing worth watching in this series is the acting, since none of the actors slacked off, they played the parts given to them nicely.
I also liked the fact that they changed NorthSonic's ending, and made them become endgame, since they parted ways in the novel. And I liked that they changed Charlie's amnesia from permanent to temporary. these are the things that ruined the novel for me, other than the removal of the omegaverse.
If you wanna watch it, watch it, because a lot of the episodes are entertaining. But don't expect too much, specially towards the ending.
