The reason she runs away from him in the second episode is because of the age difference. One of her main motivations for returning to her correct time-line is the age difference. But besides that in the first episode it is explained that while she has the "body and mind" of a 29 year old, she is still stuck as a high schooler. Really the only difference between 17yr and 29yr old Shion is that she can now drink, and that she takes care of how she looks. Also if this show took place one year later no one would bat an eye, because your an "adult" at 18, even if at 29 Shion is very fair from most adult reasonability's.
