It’s so funny because everything you was saying about Love between fairy and devil, about Xiao Zhan, and about The untamed is exactly what I was thinking 😂😂😂. I started watching The longest promise without a favorite actor or actress in mind, but just after a couple of episodes, I fell in love with Ren Min and her portraying of Zhu Yan. I think because Zhu Yan was 15 years old, she started out as a little childish but she grew. She was eager to learn, she was studying hard, she admitted her mistakes, said sorry and then tried her best to solve the problems, and she appreciated people around her. I think because Xiao Zhan is the top actor in the industry, some people was unfairly judging Ren Min. In the comments section, fans of The untamed series even came to hate on her. I was like what’s wrong with you people, what do The longest promise series that’s coming out in 2023 has to do with The untamed series that came out in 2019. Can you just be happy for your idol Xiao Zhan that he’s having two great, and two completely different dramas? Anyway, after The longest promise, I started to watch a lot of Ren Min previous works and I was so impressed. I love her acting very much and I’m looking forward to her future roles 😊❤️🥰😘😍

I agree with you. Ren Min is really a talented actress. She can plays a variety of roles distinguishably. I love her works very much. About The Longest Promise, by reading the comments people posted, I can see one of the biggest reason people don’t like her is because they love the male lead Xiao Zhan very much so they think that Ren Min is not good enough, not pretty enough to be with him, or they think their favorite actress is better than Ren Min and should be the main female lead. The second reason people being harsh on her is because they think her character is annoying. The thing is, Ren Min is playing a 15 years old character. Her character is an extrovert, bubbly, fun, charismatic, energetic…those are all the things the male lead character was missing, that’s why he was drawn to her, that’s why he loves her because she is what he needs, she brings the smile to his face, she makes him happy. If she was not who she is, I don’t think that they will fall in love. But to many people, they think all of those traits make her character annoying. But to me, I think she is the exact person that the male lead needs. They complete each other. I think Ren Min did a fantastic job portraying a 15 year old teenager, growing into a 17 or 18 years old young women, from an innocent girl to a very responsible young adult. Through Ren Min acting, I can see the growth of her character. I love this drama so much and I love her acting so much. If you have a chance, I recommend you watch it 🤗❤️🥰😍💕

I know The Longest Promise brought Ren Min a lot of headache from haters but it also brought her a ton of new fans just like me. I went back and watched a lot of her previous works and I was very impressed with her acting skills. I love Ray of Light, Serenade of Peaceful Joy, and especially Cry Me a Sad River. I cried so much for her character in that movie. I can honestly say she is one of a very few actors/actresses that really impressed me with her talents. She makes me feel happy, sad, makes me smile, laugh, makes me worried, nervous, fear...for her characters when I was watching them. To me, she is a beautiful girl, a GREAT actress, and if I could say something to her, I would say: "for some people, they will hate you for absolutely no reason (or maybe they do have their own childish reasons in their twisted minds) You can't satisfy everybody and you don't have to. You only need to be you, keep up the Good Work. You have your real fans rooting for you. Wishing you all the bests! Love, from America!!!!!!!"

Sometime, I think he really is alive and they will be living happily together for the next 26 years. But then I remember he said he will come back to visit her when the flower bloom and then I thought oh no, maybe he did died and he only come back to visit her and I cried so much for them 😭😭😭. I know, right. They said the drama is bad, the fl is annoying…but they keep watching it and then came here to leave negative comments. Come on people, if you don’t like it, just don’t watch it. Go find something else that makes you happy 😊😊😊 the haters are the ones that annoying me. I love this drama so much and I love to read the comments from real fans discussing the episodes as we were watching it, it likes I’m watching this with friends even though we are all around the world, a supporting community. The episodes are available to me at 6 AM where I live, so for the last 9 days I been waking up at 6 in the morning just to watch it before I do anything else 😄😄😄. So, can I assumed that TLP is popular in China? I just hope all the hard works the actors and actress, the director, the crews… put into this was paid off.
