Basically just for the fans.
The only thing really prevalent to the story is that we get to actually see Mook and Vie as a couple? I don't know what they are in the beginning, but we do finally get to see Mook and Vie's chemistry and storyline that was missing in the main series as a whole. I actually like them together in the special episode, even if I’m not 100% sure if they’re dating or not.
The special episode was basically just for fans of the show. It had no real storyline or added anything really. I am confused because at one point, Mut mentions his first time eloping was with Rak, so are they married? Did eloping suddenly get a whole new meaning, and I was just left out of the loop? They call each other boyfriends, so I don't know if it was a translation error or what. I will say I smiled a lot during the Rak and Mut scenes because they are really cute together and so in love in this special.
Overall you don't NEED to watch this as it doesn't add anything to the actual story but if you enjoyed the show and want to watch it, it's not too bad.
