The plot twist in this drama is no longer a twist, it's a plot twirl. Eps 1-19: 8/10 - Lots of people to introduce but it has good momentum, like getting tasty food shoved into your throat. Eps 21-44: 8/10 - Lots of subtle details like the ducks. Eps 45-48: 6.9/10 ??? - The grandma ending was expected. Eps 51-52: 6/10 - Things go south real quick, epilepsy fiesta. Directors are smoking crack at Eps 20 and 35: 6/10 *Similar to Happy Sisters and Goong*
TLDR drama is like a psycho girlfriend, you were sleeping together next day she stab you in sleep. Jang Na Ra pretty as always especially her voice; when she scream too, this will not affect our rating though. The Council shall place this under Section One below average. 7/10
FL tolerance toward annoying and stalky ML in the beginning is just next level OOC. 5/10 The cops are just braindead here, the only functioning detective is not a detective. Especially that female pig, it interrogates FL multiple times not a single drink for FL but side character do. The ending is underwhelming, especially that weapon being unrealistic. 6/10 The concept is 8/10, directors did not deliver that
The Council was planning to place this under Section Two, but due to FL dedication to her role by being skinny, The Council shall place this under Section One below average. 7/10
Great opening with constant momentum. EP5 Ending - FL can detect all small stuff but can't detect that. Similar to Love beyond the Grave (failed to deliver unlike this drama), Death's Game.
The writers are cooking wagyu for this one, even though FL OOC lovesick and blunders for the plot, The Council shall place this under Section One above average. 8.5/10
8/10 spooky spooky. There's a AI game copied this concept called Nightmare Shift. Dramas with stalking subplot: Destined with You, When the Phone Rings.
Stalking genre is just god tier, wdk about psychopath supporting chr. tag The Council shall place this under Section One at average due to short watch-time.
At beginning ML is bipolar and annoyingly childish. 6/10 Luckily character development for main leads is decent, also witnessed a unique kiss from this drama. 7/10 Jang Na Ra here looked like FL from The Story of Ming Lan is a plus.
We will go easy on rating due to different times, The Council shall place this under Section One below average. 7.9/10
Stalker as a main concept is rare in dramas so it's disappointing seeing these tags. If I want to watch corn I won't go to Netflix. The directors are not smoking crack, they're smoking aphrodisiac
Due to potential sexual content, The Council shall not review nor watch this for placement.
Eps 1-6: 6.9/10 3 eps in, FL treated like sh1t by ML, still let him get into her house. She is too innocent for her past. If you think there's a plot hole, it (A1) will be explained later on.
Eps 7-16: 8/10, The directors is cooking on this one, strong momentum. Despite how good it is, the main antagonist concept is quite rare in dramas.
== Minor Spoiler == (A1) Love Spell states: It's a spell to win the love of someone YOU LIKE.
Slow opening with powerful follow up, The Council shall place this under Section One at average.
FL should've cut off ML right after bakery issue for causing trouble. Very OOC of her to let him stay. Not to mention FL sparing their main enemy twice.
Overall 7/10, The Council shall place this under Section One below average.
Similar dramas: My Lovely Liar (2023), Hotel del Luna, The Master's Sun, Black, About Time
Please spoil me how the ending played out. I didn't like the ending of Scent of Time, it ruined the entire drama…
Similar like Scent of Time, the alarm clock here is basically the scents in SoT 1. FL "woke up" from 35 eps 2. She corrects her mistakes, but all her work in 35 eps goes down the drain 3. She somehow meet ML, the one FL love, in the future, then it ends with no follow up or explanation.
all this happen in less than 50% time of one episode.
(Slight spoiler) Issues: Sudden kiss for some reason (second one). Madwoman 2ndFL sudden change at the end. FL with that fishy company issue not brought up, lawsuit or something. ML family issues just a filler with no impact.
Overall 7.9/10. Even though the actors deliver especially FL, due to directors smoking crack with this writing, The Council shall place this under Section One at average.
