This is really a solid drama. It's got good acting, cinematography, plot, pacing, music... everything! I would say that this drama followed the formula for a good show perfectly, which is definitely why so many people enjoyed it.
Some people are saying things like how the characters are unlikeable/make decisions that don't make sense. Let's just quickly clarify: most of the main characters are HIGHSCHOOLERS. Sophomores to be exact. Ask yourself: WHat would YOU do in those kids' situation? The problems they have to deal with are so large and complicated, almost too much for people that young to handle. Sometimes they'll make the right decision. Sometimes they'll make the wrong one. The show balances the amounts of rights and wrong done by the characters well enough to make it seem realistic. The characters actually act like teenagers!
The main male lead is a student who has the highest grades in the school. Most dramas would make these characters ridiculously smart to the point where it's unbelievable. This drama though? The kid is definitely smart, but he STILL makes dumb decisions a normal teenager would make. It's realistic, it's relatable! The female lead is first portrayed to be the (rebellious) daughter of a CEO. Most dramas would be shoving these characteristics down your throats, with them trying to make the parents a huge plot-point and just make them annoying in general. In this show, they portray her characters to be rebellious, which is why she ends up doing what she does, but they don't make it excessive! Sure, I hated for what she did at the beginning, and she would definitely irritate me at some points during the show, but that's honestly what makes up her character. She's not some dumb girl who makes dumb decisions, make no mistake. She has reasons for what she does, and those reasons are what makes her character.
Realism applies to all of the other characters. They're not all meant to be likeable. Honestly, all of them will definitely irritate you at some point. But that's what makes them human. Nobody is perfect, and many people will do shitty things in order to get what they want.
Sure, this drama has its flaws, but overall it was really well made and I definitely recommend it to anyone who's interested! It's only 10 episodes, soo it's pretty easy to just binge-watch it.

this drama started out well, but idk... by the time I got to the second half, the characters became ridiculously corny and I feel like the plot just got lost. I dropped it after episode 14 when I realized that I had to basically force myself to watch an episode. The moral of the drama is dumb and naive in my opinion and is a terrible look into the world. I'm all for characters getting their revenge in the end... but at least do it right. The mc basically went out of character when he bowed for the girl (why did he even fall for her in the first place? They had almost no chemistry at the start, and she was just clingy and just constantly forced her feelings onto him. I liked her at first but she got super irritating when she "fell in love" with him). He wouldn't bow to the old man when his own father's career was on the line, but he did for a girl? Not buying it. This story went from an angst-filled revenge story to a cheesy love story. Needless to say, I was super disappointed after watching this and regret wasting so much time on it. I guess you might like it if you like dramas like this, but let me tell you, this isn't anything new. Nothing unique about it, aside from the trans character and the pic character (I liked their arcs a lot) and Soo-ah (she was a refreshing female character, even though some of the reasons as to why she did certain things were kind of dumb).

Do the characters have any sort of growth arc? Everyone says they are good characters but I hate stories where…
the character growth is something that is wonderfully written in the show. It is done gradually, but the pacing is good imo

Just saw the first episode...confusing.....i didn't get it..is this just me?....if there's anyone who…
Basically, the show seems like it will present each episode in halves- the present and future. The show starts off with the two young boys, one of which believes in aliens while the other doesn't,witnessing an alien entering Earth and taking shape as a woman. The episode hints that the alien had taken the boys' father away from them. Ten years later, the roles have reversed between the brothers. Now the one who did not believe in aliens developed a crazy obsession for them, while the other no longer believed in them. The first half of the episode is pretty straightforward afterwards, with it ending off with the brothers recognizing a woman with similar features with the alien from years ago.
The second half of the episode fast forwards to 20 (thanks EliKimIsMyBabo for the correction) years later. The earth as we know it has become too polluted for proper survival. Hence, the "New Earth" was created. However, not everybody can afford to live in it, so the population of the older earth still exists. There is no police force in the new earth, as it is known to have "no crime" (you will find out why later). So, when the police force in the older earth receive a call from new earth stating that there was a kidnapping, the police are puzzled. However, they decide to investigate anyway. Along with the kidnapping, another case is brought up: the case of the missing twins, who we can recognize as the two brothers from 20 years ago. At the end of the episode, it is hinted that the detective sent to the new earth to investigate has some sort of connection with the twins. Again, you will somewhat learn about it the next episode.
Anyways, I just want to say that a lot of questions are answered in the second episode, plus you'll get more used to the formatting of the show. I hope this helped, as this show is quite amazing, and it would be sad to see someone drop it. I'm happy to help if you have any questions! Good day!

Is this similar to the short manga "Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan"? Because I really loved that…
