Loved the village-forest setting. Reminded me of the wailing and bedevilled in that aspect. The suspense and mystery totally worked on me. Overall, story was fine. But it could have been perfect with a little more nuanced script. Nonetheless, i enjoyed this.
Brushed through my watchlist and here are some of my faves: Movies - 3 iron - In the mood for love - April Snow - Revivre Dramas - Reflection of you ('an entertaining makjang' imo) - Lost - Love affairs in the afternoon (hirugao's korean remake; but totally worth watching this one as its executed differently) - My wife's having an affair this week (more of a comedy) - On the way to the airport - Ukiwa: tomodachi ijo, furin miman ( I like to call this the japanese take on In the mood for love) Whoops pulled out a long ass list, hence why I'm gonna put this into a spoiler tag, but whatever I loved these ๐
Absolutely loved that part as well. It's such an atmospheric show.
Yep, they clearly put a lot of thought and effort into each and every detail-from the acting to the cinematography and sound. That particular scene is definitely a testament to that ^^
Although the technical aspects werent A+, the shows' main substance was the story for sure. It all came full circle, or actually full decagon atleast :)
In the middle of episode 7, why do they have stopped talking to each other ?
I've realised that Takara is a lot more easier to understand as he is way more emotional and impulsive than Yujin. Yujin on the other hand keeps a lot to himself. He doesnt express much unlike Takara.

Ayyy my Saarthakara san is here!
I think they have fallen out of touch as Takarada has gotten busier since he's become a budding and successful actor.
But also, i think he is trying to break free from Yujin's shadow too by showing him how successful of an actor he has become. Just like when a couple breaks up, one of them tries to show the other person how they're doing better than the other in life-to make them jealous essentially.
Yujin also never made much of an effort to contact him coz he is probably thinking: bada aadmi ban gaya hai ab, hum jaise chote mote logon ko kaha yad rakhe ga๐
