What a sophisticated show this was! And the classy writing and direction is the cherry on top. Especially loved Toshiaki Karasawa as Zaizen. Iconic. If you haven’t watched this yet, just do it!
This show wastes so much of its time on the police and now even the journalist is adding fuel to the fire. Gotten very little of the cat and mouse chase so far.
I don't know how to feel about the differences because there are some good ideas but there are also some bad in…
True there were some differences I didn't like as well: I was really disappointed by how they scrapped away the dark humour, which was the charm of the webtoon. But who knows they could sprinkle some after we get a little more of Bae Taejin in the coming episodes.
Also, I didn't like the fact they made Lee HoChul and his wife a firefighter and a police officer in the show. Lee Hochul was just a regular banker I believe in the webtoon. But that was exactly the point the webtoon wanted to make- an ordinary man in a very unordinary situation. Making him a firefighter basically establishes that he is used to working in danger.
K-dramas love giving serial killers english names to make them sound "scarier" lol. "Rich girl" serial killer just sounds cringey(Reminds me of head hunter from Mouse)
Also, on a side note, WHERE IS KWON SIWOO'S FRICKIN TOOLBOX ?!?
This is not supposed to be a "Thriller" in the first place. This isn't the show to watch for the adventure or the suspense. You won't find any. This is a PSYCHOLOGICAL CRIME DRAMA that seeks to understand the psyche of criminals and of course throw light on the advent of profiling in Korea. So the standard of judging this is incorrect since you didn't really understand what the show is about!
