Agreed! I honestly expected more from the Hong sisters because of their reputation. This is my first drama of their's that I've watched and even though they are veterans in the industry...I'm extremely unimpressed. Well I guess my viewing experience wasn't as bad as others viewers because I diminished my expectations after part 1, but still... I really thought they'd bring more to the table. Especially in the showing rather than telling point you mentioned.

All signs really were there from the beginning! I first realised it because of the 'body transfer' between Naksu/Cho Yeon and someone much much weaker (Jin Bu-Yeon). As I watched part one, I realised the writers probably did that to make it easier to give a reverse harem romance effect. To me, there wasn't a strong feeling that they were trying to create a warrior character who would 'steal' the fighting limelight from the men. Some might think that's a bit 'messed up' of the writers but ultimately, it's the writer's & director's vision and we are the consumers . It would have been interesting to see a physically strong character in a fictional world such as AOS, ultimately but it is what it is.
