park min young is just the sweetest. i wasn’t a fan of hers before and her acting even kind of annoyed me, but here she’s my favorite. this role suits her perfectly.
wtf you keep adding movies with no asians, but when i ask you to add a drama that was made in collaboration with koreans and half of the cast are korean, you refuse me.........
By such standards dont u want to delete me (bisexual) and others from the surface of Earth?
so if i'm aroace, does that mean people should stop making any kind of romance? that's what it sounds like if we follow your logic. lgbtq+ representation needs to be normalized so people stop treating it like just a "concept" it's part of everyday life, and you need to accept that.
Death’s Game is one of the best dramas ever but that is not what it is about
sure, not about that. i mean the overall atmosphere - the moral choices, the drama, and overall the huge potential of the plot that was wasted in favor of a romcom.
i can’t stop thinking about how amazing it would be if this were a thriller fantasy where the main character is actually evil and grants any human wishes. it’s genius. something like the drama death's game
They made the culprit trans because they followed the original script in the french version. But I get what you…
i know. trans people can be killers too. but the problem is how it was shown here. they didn’t have to repeat transphobia. it wasn’t necessary to copy everything from the original.
one day koreans will learn to portray queer characters properly – but not today.... they used a trans transition simply as a mask because it's easier to kill people that way, ugh. i had hope for the police when they started talking about gender dysphoria, but they disappointed too by constantly calling her by a male name. like "ah, so this is where you were hiding, we found you"
i am disappointed with the decision (if confirmed) to film this drama in russia. it shows moral blindness. art cannot be separated from politics when that politics is the genocide of the ukrainian people. filming in russia means: direct funding of the war through taxes. legitimizing the kremlin’s propaganda narrative. devaluing the victims of the war. everyone involved is making a choice: ethics or money stained with blood. if the filming takes place there, i urge people not to watch, not to buy merch, and not to support this project.
why do we need all these personal dramatic backstories for the characters... sorry but i didn’t get attached to them enough to feel any empathy. kinda sad how this season’s characters are, no one stands out, everyone’s boring, but they keep pushing this forced drama.
watched 3,5 eps and it’s kinda boring. the games are interesting by themselves but the way they’re shown doesn’t really work for me. they reveal the games without much intrigue, it would be better to have fewer but with more tension. the new characters didn’t catch my interest either, some just die because of their stupidity… i don’t have any favorite here (yet 😏) so it feels boring to me.
the first episode is introductory. 5 left for the main plot. i hope it gets more dynamic, and doesn’t slide into a romantic drama. i was expecting more episodes, but we’ll see how it goes.
They didn't had sex in the manhwa, the male lead was just pretending they had it. Apparently there was a bs reason…
well, in the drama they didn't actually show till the end whether something happened or not… i haven't read the manhwa, i'm only judging the drama. still, even if there wasn't sex, it's toxic. the female lead thought there was, and the ml keeps chasing her because of it, proposing marriage and manipulating and deceiving her that way. he doesn't hear the word "no" i don't understand why the fl gave in to this, but i can't blame her, because in reality women often fall victim to such manipulation from men. it would make sense if the story condemned this kind of behavior, not ended with them living happily ever after with a bunch of kids. just think, they even portrayed the fl as happy and willing to give birth to 12 or 13 children (i don’t even remember the number anymore)

such a cringe "love will save the world" moment
