Filipino dramas are much influenced by telenovelas, recently korean dramas and right now I would say mix of both.…
Little by little, Filipino dramas is now trying to adapt the style of western and Korean mini series. Although they are really just a "mini series" with 5 - 12 episodes per drama and with 25 - 30 mins. duration in each episode, I think the story is pretty good and you can tell that they are really trying their best to make good stories for their audience. With that being said, there is a local streaming app in the Philippines called iWant and they are currently streaming their original mini series which I think are really good (at least for me).
