And did I say how much I love the intro? Cause it's so pretty to look at!!! I never skip it. The music and the art both are so pretty and also there are so many minute details hidden there too
Damn shit is about to go down now lol. So ep 5 is the start of his career in crime I see. I really can't wait for today's ep. Like this drama has me constantly on edge. And why did his brother have to be a police damn. I am always afraid that this time Cui Wei will find out that Cui Ye is acting suspicious. Like yeah anxiety overload heh.and gosh the writers and directors really did a good job with the details. Remember when he did that computer fate divination and it said that his difficulties will be solved if he is kind? After that Cui Ye said that he will not commit crimes when asked by JSX. Well there's this scene (I think in ep 4 or 5) where Cui Ye is contemplating if he should commit crimes and the news says that the computer divination thing is a scam and not to trust them. So maybe I am thinking too deep but doesn't it subtly show that the last constraint that Cui Ye placed on himself to stop himself from crossing the line was also found out to be a fake one. Just a cool detail I noticed. I am sure there are more
And also can I say how cliche it was that the big bad mastermind that was HP was in love with JC all the time. And he felt like JC didn't love him back and loved his brother instead so in the end he decided to either make her "his" or kill her. Like that's so cliche lolol I feel like I've heard that plot so many times before. Sorry I am complaining a lot. But I need to get these feelings out lol
I think they wanted to end with a bang. I haven’t finished watching yet, but let’s see what I think about…
She wouldn't move into HP's house she'd move into the house of Han Jun's gf. But HJ is now HP so he broke up with her cause he was in love with JC (so he was manipulating her) so said gf moved back to China to meet HP (she thinks it's HJ) to find out the reason why he broke up. But she learns that HP killed his brother and impersonated him. Long story short gf gets kidnapped by HP but GF has evidence in her necklace which contains HJ fingerprint. To save gf JC also comes to China and tries to do a solo mission to save her (there was a reason, her phone broke... Which is the most cliche reason ever lol) gets kidnapped herself. HP decides to burn the house down. Gf gets rescued in time but JC goes back in the burning building to get back the evidence and boom she's dead. Sorry if this is very messy and hard to understand. I tried my best to keep it short and neat

Honestly the death of JC was just unnecessary. I just can't figure out the whole point of her character. And the way she died was so dumb. Like why did she have to go find HP without any protection? She wasn't even a police. She was a forensic scientist. She probably couldn't have been able to defend herself. The way she died was just so dumb in itself
The one drama I found where there was no unnecessary love triangle or forced romantic plotline and good male/female friendships and what did they do? They killed the fl at the end smh
