Yes, it's so frustrating when that happens, and it happens a lot unfortunately. I have a theory but I am not so sure. Just thinking that if the novel was available in other languages, there would be a risk that people who would have read it, would lose interest in watching the series or would have dropped spoilers here and there, so the profits behind filming the series would have been lesser regarding the international audience, it would have been just like publishing a movie script before airing a movie. All the fervor, cliffhangers and expectations would have evaporated.

I was telling myself that maybe after having released all the episodes, maybe they will give the green light to someone to translate it. Meanwhile I spare the copyrights holders and blame professional secrecy lol

According to what I read in the comments here and on other platforms, it's only available in Thai and the copyrights holders didn't allow yet to someone to translate it. That's the state of affair for the moment, maybe someone will translate it in the future. I am eager to read it as well :)

I admit it. I was one of the few who praised this series and refuted the confusing side of it. It was all because I did not watch it in time. When most of those whom found it confusing have already watched 7 episodes, I have only watched 4. Now that I have watched 8, my point of view of this series changed, almost radically.

Well, I did not find it confusing in the start and I still don't find it confusing now. However, I feel highly bothered by something that I am still unable to pinpoint in this series. I watched it again and I still don't know where exactly the storyline went in a spin. To picture my feeling, it was as if I was listening to house music and out of nowhere classical music started playing ... :/
Since I was unable to find the defective point, I speculate on a spineless twist that happened somewhere in the 5th or 6th episode, turning the storyline into something not confusing to me but rather into a bunch of discordant, drab scenes. That's too bad because I have nothing to say about the 4 first episodes, I really liked them and wished the series to keep the cadency.

All in all, to be honest, I think the episodes 5, 6, 7 and 8 could have been summarized in one episode. I like it when a book or a show gives importance to every detail but not when I lose interest part way through. The good side is that there are still 4 episodes left and I will watch the episode 9 with crossed fingers, hopefully it will live up to my "reasonable" expectations. Otherwise I will do what I do the best, I will skip the extra and watch Gord and Morn's parts, they are too cute for me to feel bothered :)

Yes, we agree on that. I just hope it won't be something overdone or made up that would ruin everything nice in this series. Perth is 17? So the biography I found on Google was fake, it was said 15. Now I checked the one on kisskh and cursed inwardly lol

I watched this series for another time again. I think this is the tenth time I watched it. Still waiting for the series that will surpass this one and become my new favorite BL series, but I think it will take time for me to find a better series than Dark Blue and Moonlight. This is definitely the kind of shows that I prefer with a denouement that's not made to please the public but rather to be the display of a life lesson, a moral, for whomever sees further than love. Really loving this show. Hat off.

Well, I wanted Hai Qing to choose Yan Fei and I am glad that he did, if not he would have lived all his life with a "What if?" hanging above his head. Keep in mind, people, that Su Hai Qing fell in love at first sight with Yan Fei, that he lived his days not expecting to see him ever again, he became a dream impossible to reach... and when he met Pin Jun, he tried to relearn to live and forget about that one man he couldn't have. Pin Jun was amazing to him and Hai Qing did never deny it, he knew Pin Jun loved him, he couldn't even tell him the truth for fear to hurt him, but he couldn't stop his heart from yearning for the one love it couldn't have a first time. It was a second chance offered by fate to Yan Fei and him to meet, if he didn't take it, if he let Yan Fei go, he would have regretted it his whole life maybe and lived sad, made the gentle Pin Jun sad. Yan Fei has been very understanding and loving. Not a lot of men accept to share the one person they want. Pin Jun has also done more than enough sacrifices to make Hai Qing happy, but he knew that he had to give up to ensure his beloved's happiness. He knew that if they stayed together none of the three of them would have been happy. So he took the right decision.

I don't consider what Hai Qing did as cheating. He didn't look for a lover after dating Pin Jun. If he knew he would find Yan Fei, he wouldn't have dated Pin Jun (obviously), and when they had sex, he thought it would be a one-time thing, a way to get over his infatuation and move on... I think he was left with no other choice but to be with both as he couldn't hurt his boyfriend and couldn't let go of the one man he couldn't forget.

I think there's no reason to be harsh. The best shows aren't the ones that disguise reality, but those that assume reality and display it as it is for whoever is too blind to see it.

But, once again, I respect everyone's opinion. I know that we all base our judgments on our personal experiences, so it's obvious that we won't all agree with each other :)

Yes, in Together With Me it came as an evidence and I know that Perth (Ae) is only 15, we can't expect anything as mind blowing (and perverting lol) as in TWM but I just hope that if they ever kiss, it won't ruin the harmony, it can be timid and cute, as long as it's well done the intensity doesn't matter. I am not demanding lol

@vaberella Maybe that my assumptions are unfounded but that's what you will find in every Business book. Most of the production of a movie/series lies in its marketing/advertising strategy. I just gave the hints of the hows a production team foresees the post-filming phase. Don't think that all the persons who enjoy those light Thai shows are illeterate and unable to judge objectively a show. We are businessmen, physicians, students, writers, producers, artists ... and we all have a life behind. So if my assumptions are unfounded for you, for a marketing manager or a strategy developer they will be.
You seem to be an energetic orater/tress, but we aren't in an arena, we are supposed to have fun and enjoy our favorite shows, not to set fire here and there. I personally loathed the majority of the shows I watched but that was no reason for me to spread my venom here, I always give my negative opinion with humor to let the production team know that I did not like their work but still looking forward for their future projects, I know how discouraging a bad feedback can be and the last I want is to be an obstacle in the way. Those production teams have more to learn to improve their skills by keeping working than in reading acerb comments. I know that people of all generations and origins watch the shows I watch, I know that culturally and psychologically speaking we all started this adventure from unequal starting points, some are more susceptible to find what they are looking for here than others, and not everyone wants to know if the show is a masterpiece or not. Most of the people of whom I read the comments, me the first of them, just want to have nice time, anything that makes us forget about our daily life duties and struggles is already fabulous and worth watching.
You speak well of open-mindedness in Thailand, and how the beautiful people from there are changing the world with their acquired open-mindedness, my advise for you is to change the society at your scale as well, by being a tad more accepting because with too high expectations, disappointment is at every turn.

@vaberella I think every show has its targeted audience and every target has it's target as well, that is what is called in Business the Heart of a Target, which means that even amongst the people whom are more likely to appreciate a show there is a fringe that is susceptible to like it more than another. So, if in the first place you don't belong to the targeted audience you have even less chances to appreciate it. But, if I may say, I don't want to speak in the name of everyone, I think that most of people here know how to recognize great shows from bad ones, if there are so many persons saying that a show is good that must be true. The secret in having good time watching this series is in keeping your expectations at a reasonable level, after all it's a teen / young adult show, not an award-winning Hollywood movie. Well, my fingers itched and I wanted to say this out of experience, I think you can't relate a cup of expensive champagne to a glass of tap water, the factors aren't matching. Here we are having a delicious fruity and refreshing beverage - for the soul - though.

I also watch yaoi anime and read a loooooot of BL novels but they can't lessen my obsession about my favorite BL shows. It's known that we always want more what we can't get and that ugly facts are quicker to come than happy ones, ... I am masochistic enough to live by Murphy's Law LOL
