I'm waiting for the ending to change my rating (8.0) and I feel like people are waiting to see who Pure will end up with and that will play a big part on what certain peoples ratings are unfortunately so yeah I think that's why it's so low rn.
i bring a sort of "poly would fix this" vibe to the party that monogamy-obsessed viewers and writers of…
yeahhh, I don’t think poly would work for them lol. Air’s kinda toxic (Pure isn’t much better 😅), and I can totally see them getting super jealous or sneaking around with randos. Poly relationships need the right mindset and they soooo don’t have it.
I agree that the semi-deletion of Riwon was petty, unecessary and hurt the show, but I vehemently disagree with…
They probably didn't have a baseline for "normal" lesbians because they shun them so much they could only find the crazies. Who else would voluntarily choose to be attacked online and irl everyday after filming was done? If not for attention? Your point is valid but theres soooo many factors at play here that sadly makes this normalized in Korea and have probably negatively impacted every single one of them in different ways emotionally and socially.
Also "His Man" is not comparable because the culture around BL is a 180 compared to GL and it's just now starting to catch up (not with open arms btw) So while I understand you I would also suggest having a little more empathy because i'm sure this show was traumatic for them to film and you can tell by the way they talk about it as being "unusual" and having very low expectations for the show, themselves and the audience. Not everything is black and white.
No. Too much is happening behind the scenes. Turns out a lot of them are horrible people.
I just started watching it and honestly im gonna tune out the bts drama and just say Minwoo in general was a terrible pick for the show because in her intro she says she gets jealous easy and is so headstrong she wants to IMPRISON the one she wants and cut them off from everyone. So what happened is not surprising to me as a viewer at all and it actually makes me more intrigued because WHY would they do that added an extra person to mess up the dynamics for NO reason.

It's deleted now which i'm sure it has something to do with it being illegal in China but what was it called?
To me it's like a play within a play. They speak about censorship alot in the vulgar/sexual sense when all the while we are being censored from a potential relationship between two women because not only is it illegal it would be considered one in the same type of "erotica" by Korea's standards. Truly a masterpiece and it reminds me of the movie "carol" which I love.
The one time I support a straight couple one of them is lying to the other about being terminally ill... 0.o
I actually really like this series! It's really refreshing. Not everyone is conventionally attractive and the diversity of couples is surprising. Somebody for everybody lol. Not a very common concept in most K-dramas.

I hate her so much I'm gonna be a little sad when they eventually kill her. She's a really good villain one of the best i've seen in a while.
