well age gap is not my problem if that my problem then Gong Yoo gonna cry too because in goblin he fell for high…
Yeah I agree it’s morally incorrect however her mom or dad wasn’t in her life at all and has been gone for 18 years plus! This is just how Chao Planoy interprets family drama also SPOILERS!!!
I'm interested to see how the drama differs from the novel. Even though the book is about two ADULTS (i.e. people…
Yeah idk where people were getting that Anueng was 14 or 16 but that’s how the hate train started. And I also suspect a lot of spicy bits WILL be cut because they are a bit too intense for the average GL audience.
This was a teaser --mostly--of the first episode. I don't think they didn't make changes...
They didn’t make any changes to their ages so far the novel and the series are the same. Good thing. though cause it would’ve ruined the storyline had they aged her… patience is key! 🥴
Thanks to your post, I too went to MEB and purchased the English version. I haven't finished it yet, but I'm really…
You’re welcome! I’m glad someone else enjoyed it as much as I do. I only read it right before so I wouldn’t set myself up for failure by watching the series with no context and hating it towards the end if something bad or one wrong thing happened. I’m happy I was able to form my own opinions! 😓😂
That girl, I want to shut her mouth. She's got on my nerves after 30 seconds. Wtf, who behaves like a 5 years…
She is annoying but that’s kinda the whole point. She has to be to get into the other main leads heart who is adamant about keeping her far away and telling her to leave the entire time 😂
After reading the newer comments this series seems to be the worst case scenario of “judging a book by its cover” the series is already so good from the first episode and after reading the book it made it so much better.
If you are super worried about this series I beg you to read the novel first! I read the first 5 chapters free online and liked it so much I just bought the entire book. I don’t know how/why the actresses and company got so much hate but I’m glad they stood their ground and were still willing to put something out.

I don’t know anything about the novel. Just skimming through here about ppl having issues with the age gap.…
I would say the fact that Aneung (the younger woman) is constantly chasing after Khun Nueng (the older one) trying endlessly to be with her is a big part of consent that I appreciate (even if not completely reciprocated by Khun Nueng) And how they are both hyper aware of the stigmatism and prejudice that comes with their relationship adds an extra layer to the entire series for me. They don’t simply tell the audience to accept it and pretend it’s normal they address it over and over again to make a point to try to figure out how to get through it and be together. Even after all of the fear of being separated or disappointing others. It’s a fair concern to have but I’m definitely happy people are willing to watch it first before completely bashing it!
But how long is the “4 years earlier” going to go on for 🥴 I hope it doesn’t end with art lady slipping…
In the book they know each other for about 5+ years starting from when she graduates high school to her graduating collage and afterwards. Their relationship doesn’t really get serious until she’s in college. So the time span is from 18 to 24/25 and 34 to like 39/40 I believe.
Bought the English book version of “Blank” last night on “MEB” (since it premieres tomorrow!) Gave it a read I definitely see where all the criticism comes from but I don’t doubt it’s still an interesting story and a good read…even if VERY morally incorrect…! Can’t wait to see how much of the book they kept in because they definitely could’ve considered cutting a few parts/people out! I guess it depends on how spicy/chaotic they wanted it. Overall I’m excited!!!
Is there a spin off in a current world/setting with the same actresses or am I mistaken? I saw it in my recommended but forgot to save it in my watch later…
i believe the problem is not the age gap trope itself, but how young the main character is. she's literally wearing…
I mean that’s understandable. I was referencing movies/shows like “Between the Seasons” “The Root” “Loving Annabelle” and “Bloomington” where the character either has to die, leave, be abused by their lover, or get taken away all because of the age gap. So it’s promising that we might get a plot a bit nicer. I’ll also say that in more recent years age gap relationships have become prominent in a lot of peoples lives due to the internet etc. and aren’t going anywhere soon because of young celebrities also in similar relationships promoting them. Not to mention media already pushing romantic MLW school age gaps on us each year. So because of that I think it’s good to have positive age gap representation instead of negative if- we have to have it at all that is. I also have opinions on sexualizing young girls UNDER 18 esp. in GL but that’s another convo…
I know there’s already controversy around this but to be honest huge age gaps are becoming more common and it’s something we’ve seen a lot in GL media. And I’d take an age gap trope over a death trope anyday 😭
