Hey girlie! I actually haven't watched any dramas for the past few months. Had to put my drama life on hold once I started my grad program. Now that I'm on academic break I plan on binging as much as possible. How are you? Any recommendations?

I still haven't finished Boys Over Flowers. I'm not sure if I even reached the halfway mark. I think at this point I may have watched too many dramas to enjoy it or maybe I'm no longer in the target age group. The drama just seems somewhat of an annoyance to watch now. I can see why people love it, it's just not for me. Kudos to you for watching it 4 years later! Has your opinion of it improved now that you've seen the whole thing?

I just started watching The Best Lee Soon Shin. I swore I wouldn't watch it since it's 50 episodes long but here I am, 13 episodes later and absolutely loving it. I'm also watching Last Cinderella. I was watching the new Japanese remake of Itzara na Kiss but I put that on hold. What about you? What are you watching? I also haven't been on MDL for a while. I decided to take little break from the drama world but I'm back right now.

Cool, I've never met someone from St.Vincent before. Right now I'm watching 3 different dramas: Last Cinderella, When a Man Loves a Woman and Itzara na Kiss. I'm kinda watching Devil Beside You, but I haven't watched an episode in about a week. What are you watching? How are you liking the dramas that you're watching now?

I normally go for rom/coms but I have been watching more melodramas. I'll watch historical dramas but they're not my fav. I tend to avoid thrillers action dramas. Conversely, I have seen some really good action dramas, I just don't gravitate towards them on a regular basis. I've realized that I'm not much of a supernatural drama person. I've seen some that have gotten great reviews but I don't really like them. I watch dramas that are currently airing and that have already finished. You don't like to drop dramas? I'm the total opposite. I've dropped loads of dramas. I try to hold on but it gets to the point where I no longer have the patience to deal with whatever bs is going on. Special Affairs Team 10 sounds really good. Right now I'm totally in love with this j-drama called Last Cinderella.

How did you make that calendar for your 52 week challenge? It's beautiful. Have you been good about keeping to your schedule? I'm doing the challenge too. I've been pretty decent at it. I try to watch at least 1 drama a week but some weeks I don't watch any dramas while other weeks I can finish 2. I told my friends about my drama challenge. Dome of them told me to get a new hobby while others think my drama obsession is hilarious. What do your friends think of your drama obsession?

Ghost in the Shell sounds really interesting. I may check it out after I finish my drama challenge. I'm on the fence about When a Man's in Love. I don't love it but I don't hate it either. I'm more neutral about it and am waiting to see how I feel after a few more episodes. Are you thinking about starting it? I normally go for rom-coms but lately I've been getting more into melodramas. Tower of God is an adventure/ fantasy manwha. It's about a guy named BAAM. He enters the tower in order to find Rachel, his only friend. Before she left his side, she told him that she wanted climb to the top of the tower in hopes of one day seeing stars (those who make it to the top of the tower are granted any wish and hers is to see stars). Hoping to find her, he enters the tower and is slowly making his way to the top. Getting to the top of the tower is difficult. In order to get to each floor you have to pass difficult tests. It's alot better than my description. I know it sounds like a romance type manga but it's more shounen than romance. What's Ghost in the Shell about? I got introduced to dramas 2 years ago too! Since you said you were in college 2 yrs ago, I'm gonna assume we're prob around the same age. I'm 24. Nice to see someone else on here that isn't a teenager. I don't watch animes anymore. I used to watch them alot back in high school and early in my college career. I still read some mangas (been reading them since high school). Right now I'm obsessed with a manwha called Tower of God. Have you heard of it? What type of manga do you read? I normally go for shojo mangas but I made an exception for Tower of God. It is that good. Anyways, I don't read mangas/manwhas as much as I used to. I'm moving more and more towards dramas.

I hated You're Beautiful. I prob didnt get past the 5 episode. I only knew Jaejoong & Micky from JYJ, the other guy I discovered while watching the interviews. I started watching interviews b/c it blew my mind when I found out that those 2 were singers and that they were from the same group. I wanted to find out more abt them. JaeJoong was indeed in Protect the Boss. I loved him in that roll. I'm not a huge fan of the movies he did. The postman movie was ok and the Jackal movie was terrible. Micky though, I really respect as an actor. You think he's cocky? I've been trying to think of a word to describe his personality but I can't. I know that I think he's an alright guy. I don't know though. I can't quite put my finger on how I would describe his personality. Jaejoong is hilarious. He would deff be the life of the party. Im also watching Game of Thrones. Have u seen it? I luv it.

I usually watch 2-3 dramas at once but lately I've been trying to be more productive with my life so I've been focusing on 1 drama at a time. Yeah I was thinking about dropping Sungk Scandal but i've instead decided to skip ahead to where the main character finds out she's a girl. I think my problem is that I just don't have enough patience to watch dramas that have major secrets that dont come out until late about life. In college i never had time to watch things on tv so i think that's where i picked up the habbit of watching things on my computer instead. I haven't seen Salaryman but i've been hearing good thigns about it. Maybe i'll add it to my list of PTW. Let me know how much you like it once your 3/4 done with it. I'm always down for a good laugh. It sounds stupid but lately i've been youtubing jyj interviews to get my laughs. I dont even listen to their music. I just like them

I haven't seen Liar Game yet. I used to read the manga so I'm pretty familiar with the story line, I just never got around to watching the drama version. I deff want to see it though. I keep seeing all these good reviews about it. I wish i could get my mom into dramas. She refuses to watch them though. I think, like your hubby, she doesn't want to deal with subtitles. After watching so many k-dramas I wish I knew more korean to show for all my hours spent in front of the computer. I know a few words or phrases but I can't follow an entire conversation. I was against watching melodramas too but "Missing You" got me to start watching them. I can't watch too many though. Drama overload you know? Sungkyunkwan Scandal is ok.It's not terrible but so far it isn't all that special either. I'm watching it to finish it, not because i love it. Maybe later i'll get more into it.

It's hard to get guys to watch dramas. I've only been able to get 1 of my guy friends to watch a kdrama. I picked a drama that had loads of action, Chuno. Luckily, it's also one of my fav dramas. Instead of Quen Inhyun's Man, do you have any dramas that you're thinking of switching to? Right now I'm watching Sungkyunwan Scandal. I'm on episode 8. It's ok so far but I keep debating whether or not I should just switch to a jdrama since this drama is 20 episodes long. I'm not sure why i decided to watch it now.I'm in a type of mood where i want to just get in and get out. Finish a drama quickly you know? Do you pick dramas based on your mood? I know i usually do. That stinks that you and your mom dont watch the same dramas. My sister and I will sometimes end up watching the same dramas but our tastes are totally diff. I'll say a certain drama is trash & she'd end up lovin it.
