On Jang Ok Jung May 7, 2019
Title Jang Ok Jung
I am at episode 20 and can't bear to continue watching. This sageuk is one of the best I've watched, second only to Scarlet Heart. The love story moved me and intrigued me so much that halfway through I had to google for the historical timeline - which was a mistake. I really enjoyed the 1st half of the series and totally rooted for Ok Jung and Lee Soon. I am glad they cast Yoo Ah In. He was excellent as Yi Bang Won in Six Flying Dragons and I was sad he didn't, no, couldn't have the love of his life. So I am happy things worked out for Lee Soon and Ok Jung (ie. she became his concubine). The writers crafted a beautiful love story but since it has a tragedy tag, I am dreading the remaining episodes....

Title I'm Not a Robot Spoiler
You'll discover this later in the story, but his allergy is due to a psychological belief; because he believes…
Yes ... I realised it was induced psychologically after a couple more episodes. Thanks for your reply ... and I agree with your suggestion ... will just enjoy the drama and not over analyse!

I just started this and am on epi 3. Isn't he supposed to be allergic to humans? Why did he not break out in rashes when he touched the fake Aji 3 - ie the human pretending to be a robot in epi 2?? He touched her skin with his bare hands!! Did I miss something?

My take is that the brother on reaching Nepal somehow got to know about the incense and got tempted. Either Sun…
Wow! I am bowled over by your conclusion! Love to read the various interpretations. Good one.

I enjoyed it. I thought it was even better than the movie! But then again, I am glad it didn't try to replicate the movie. Each has its own unique plot development and characters, but I must say I prefer the drama ending. I thought though, her good friend and agent (Woo Mi) and Do Jae's secretary (Jeong Hwan) had great chemistry and should have been the 3rd couple! LOL!

Its so boring and slow! think i will watch final two episodes to see how it end like i did with the smile has…
Actually, I thought Smile has left your eyes is one of the best dramas I've watched. The suspense got really intense in the 2nd half albeit a lot of frustrations and misunderstandings. It is a dark drama - reminded me of My Mister - with amazing acting from Seo In Guk and Jung So Min. SIG was both romantic and psychotically scary. His eyes were so expressive you get chills! I enjoyed the drama a lot.

WARNING: IF YOU DON'T LIKE SAD OR OPEN ENDING DRAMAS THIS DRAMA IS NOT FOR YOU. IT IS A DARK DRAMA.Lots of good…
I just started this drama because of Jung So Min and Seo In Guk who was great in The King's Face. I am on epi 1 and find it intriguing. But I just read it is a melodrama with tragic ending! Scarlet Heart left a deep scar and I was traumatised! I want to watch this but terrified of its ending! But your comments got me curious to see all that you mentioned and so I am going to gather the courage to endure this till the end!

I saw the movie it was more entertaining than the show probably bc the roles were switched n the movie ofcourse…
Yes it is inevitable that we compare the movie with the drama. It happened with Cheese in the Trap - I loved the drama but gave up after 1 hr into the movie. Thanks for your reply.

Wondering if this is worth watching. I liked the movie - esp the guest appearances like Lee Jin Wook, Seo Kang Joon, Yoo Yeon Seok, Park Shin Hye. It was offbeat but interesting. The drama synopsis however sounds nothing like the movie.

I just finished watching. This is my interpretation of the ending. In last epi, Sun Woo figured out what happened…
Also recall in the beginning episodes, Sun Woo met his brother not knowing then his brother was depressed from guilt of killing their father, abandoning his gf who tried to kill herself. Sun Woo THEN did not know his brother killed their father. In the ending timeline, Sun Woo again met his brother just like in the beginningepi. In the present timeline, Jung Woo who already served time in prison is still depressed and Sun Woo realised history is repeating itself but now he has a chance to save his brother from death and not use the incense to alter the past.

I just finished watching. This is my interpretation of the ending. In last epi, Sun Woo figured out what happened…
Yes I wondered about that too. I think Jung Woo wanted to alter his past so his father would be alive, he would not go to prison and perhaps marry his gf. Then he wouldn't be so lonely in present time. Sun Woo knows Jung Woo's intention so he arrived in Nepal before the date his brother would gave died in avalance. Does that make sense?

can some one explain ending scene
I just finished watching. This is my interpretation of the ending. In last epi, Sun Woo figured out what happened - why he warned Min Young to avoid him at all costs. He also knew he died in the past. He realised he had a chance to alter the 'future' so he went to Nepal much earlier than at the beginning. He knew why his brother went to Nepal and intercepted him before his brother died in the avalanche. And thereafter, not look for the incense and not alter the past. Jung Woo, alive now regretted his past not marrying his love and wanted to change his past. So it's a happy ending because Sun Woo knew the horrible consequences of the incense and would have stopped his brother. Hope that helps!

Title Encounter
I love how many tropes this is playing with and we're only two episodes in. We've reverse the usual male CEO/female…
Pardon my ignorance but what are 'tropes'?
