Currently on episode 4. Based on the rating, I am assuming this will get better? Some of the little things they do so far is beyond unbelievable or cliche. How can somebody so oblivious to a god damn fire? The ML's dad needing to go to the bathroom and leaving the door open in the middle of a conversation. FL tripping and falling all over the place that we might as well have a tripping counter at this point. Also, getting knock out by falling books? Really? I know some suspension of disbelief is required, but some of these scenes are just so ridiculous that it is hard to enjoy the show.
Ngl, I hate the ending. People shouldn't be guilted to staying alive. To me, that ending feels like it is saying" Your reason to live is to make sure those who love you don't get sad over your death. Everything else don't matter, not even your own life or happiness. "
Overall, pretty decent. Though, it is a bit overtop in some scenes since they tried to make the actors/actresses act like the characters in anime/manga. It is just looks weird and unnatural in some of the scenes. There are also some funny scenes from the anime that didn't get adapted here, which is a bit disappointing.
This movie makes me hate this world even more. The movie may have some exaggerated scenes, but the reality isn't too far from it. I recently quit my job in a company, and this movie made me glad I did. At the same time, it also makes me even more depress knowing that it will be the same no matter where I go next. Upper managements only care about the metrics. We are nothing but disposable parts that can easily be replaced. Even HR, despite what they say, is not even a friend to the workers. Heck, we can't even be honest during exit interview or new job interview. The world is just so fuck up...
It is always annoys me that bully is never an enough reason to be punishable by law, no matter how brutal it is. The show about bullying always made the perpetrator commits another crime in order for them to be punishable by law.
I can't say I understand the hype behind this show. The plot is meh and there are so many questionable scenes. Though, the biggest letdown for me are the characters. I don't think I liked a single person in this show, even the main ones. Like holy hell, there are just so many unlikable characters in this. The writer made them do/say the dumbest shit.
This drama made me angry. Not at the show, but at what happened in Gwangju in 1980. I started watching this, because of the casts. I have no knowledge of what happened in Gwangju in 1980. Around ep 9 or so, I honestly stopped caring about the story and the characters. The event of Gwangju was just... unbelievable. From what I heard, the actual event was even worse than what was portrayed in this drama. Human beings are just so fucking terrifying and cruel. I can't believe these type of shits happened, and still happening to this day in some country. It is absolutely insane!
I swear this show is just one big fan service. The plot wasn't all that interesting. It is basically "How many badass Vincenzo scenes can we put in 20 episodes." Welp, I can't say it wasn't entertaining to watch. XD
This movie was pretty confusing, but it wasn't too bad. My take on the ending is that both of them realized they were not in a happy relationship. You can kind of see that in their body language throughout the second half of the movie. Both of them knew it, but neither of them said anything. Young Seok is young man with a bright future. By being with Josee and caring for her, he was basically throwing his future away. He knows it, but tried desperately to deny it because he really do loves her. Josee also knows it. By being with him, she basically trapping him in her misery and preventing him from ever having a good future. However, she loves him and was too scared to be alone to let him go. So without being able to say anything to each other, their relationship became awkward and eventually fell apart. In the aquarium, we see that Josee finally decided to let Young Seok go. He didn't put much of a fight to stay with her, since he knew their relationship wasn't working. Then we see him finally broke down, and accepted it. They part ways and live their own lives. It is not a happy ending, but it is close to real life ending. Relationship don't always works out, even if both party love each other.
someone at the comment section summed up ep 15, how things work and the timeline perfectly. come back, it's actually…
Thanks for the comment. I went and finished the drama. However, I still think the action scenes were not done well. The ep15 explains the past scenes, but the not the future scenes. There were many times in the future where female MC were out of cover, and the bad guys never fire at her. They tried to portray her as this badass protagonist, but it never comes across to me as such. It felt more like the bad guys are just terrible at shooting, she just got lucky, or other reasons shown in ep15. All in all, it is a decent watch. Story is ok. Casts are good. Bad action scenes, imo. Not a fan of the ending either.
The concept, the trailer, and the casts got me so hyped, but unfortunately this is such a disappointment. The writing and some of the scenes are just absurd. It doesn't feel like the MCs are being smart and badass, but more like the bad guys are just dumb and slow. None of them can aim. The MCs could be 10 fts away from them, and they would still miss with a shotgun. Overall, just very hard to watch.
Based on the trailer and description, I honestly thought it was going to be a badass, action-pack revenge story. Turned out, it wasn't. It is still pretty decent though. Questionable in some parts, but overall it is a good sad story. I like sad story. :D
She is 16 actually l, as International age. And she became matured as the story progressed. If you said that later…
I never said the later episodes are dragged. If anything, I am saying the early episodes are dragged. It seems I am right to drop the show then if people are saying the later episodes are rushed. Rushed ending are never good. Although, the biggest reason that make me drop the show is the constant interruptions. I know this is a drama, but this is just too much. The unfortunate missed encounters, the cliffhangers, the secrets not getting reveal, because of some cliché happens. It just so predictable, and frustrating to watch for me.
