I had it on my WL too. When the trailers dropped, I changed the status to "Not Interested." I peeked at the shorts uploaded to SM while OD was airing, which only confirmed that I made the right call. It looked exactly like a micro-drama with a big budget. I actually like MDs, they are a guilty pleasure, but only in that format. I can't do one that goes for 33 episodes at 45 mins an episode. That's simply silly and ridiculous 😆.

Lol. I only watched one episode of that drama. The final one. I've never laughed so hard in my life. Part micro-drama. Part fashion shoot. All comedy.

There's an interview where Ai Mi says she's looking forward to university and sees it as her next set / project. Ai Mi won't muck around with her BFA studies or be a disruption to other students by coming and going and seeking privileges. She's very smart, industry savvy, and most importantly humble.

It's not that she'll film absolutely nothing in her whole time there, but she fully understands the BFA isn't putting her career on hold, it's a big step forward in advancing her development and opening up new doors / opportunities.

Yes, young actresses are going to be given a rough time from the nasty side of fandoms as they build their careers. These fans are going to do everything they can to throw shade and tear them down. In the long-run, it won't work. The up-and-comers will add new fans and open up new opportunities with their performances. Like I said, talented actresses from prior generations have nothing to worry about. It's the "actresses" who didn't put enough effort into developing their acting ability. That choice alone shortens a career. They prioritised short-term benefits over skill development.

When we did ZJM's photo section, the first thing that stood out was the variety of roles she played. Although it's great seeing her back in costume and many people wish she'd stay. ZJM is industry savvy, and her photo section is testament to the career path of someone who takes their acting seriously. An actress who seeks role variety and challenges. Not comfort and an easy routine. That's the photo section of a real actor with a bright future and long career ahead of them.

I'm really happy this project is going to happen. It will be great for him. I'll admit, the potential multi-lead project had me nervous, but overall I've been really impressed with his role selection recently. He's been on a great streak, choosing projects that will benefit him immensely.
