Agreed. In the best dramas, everyone does their part. Yes, "Irreplaceable" attempted to spread the focus across too many characters. Which was a mistake when limited to 20 episodes. Had it been 40, it might have worked. However, it also failed to find its identity and couldn't decide if it wanted to be a feel-good fluff drama or a serious one. None of that should be held against AJTG. Costume dramas typically have the scope to carry more characters and side stories. The reuters have been amazing, so let's have faith.

22 was a tale of two halves. Pure satisfaction in the first half, and a desire to see Wei Shu burn in the second. It was so obvious she was a bitch from the first moment she appeared.

Majority career focused (the pressure of solving the case / winning the trial), but with elements of love and relationships built-in. Drama constructed around the challenges of balancing career ambition with maintaining friendships and finding love.

I'm so ready to see Mai Mai in another complex drama with a lot of meat on the bone. I want her to take us on an emotional rollercoaster.

Thank you for posting more details. I must say, this is going to be one of my sneaky most anticipated dramas of 2027. It's so different for the both of them. Although after reading the comments, it sounds like there will still be plenty of heavy drama and heartbreak. ZZF looks absolutely gorgeous for ELLE, and she looks stunning in these reuters too. You become so used to seeing her in serious and dark dramas, you forget she has such magnificent bone structure. It's lovely to see this feature highlighted on screen. I can't wait.

Ai Mi's killing it. Well done 👏👏👏. Such a great head on her shoulders. She's put together a fantastic resume / portfolio. There's something for everybody in her filmography. What stands out with Ai Mi is her nose for a good script / interesting project. I always get excited seeing what's she's getting up to next. I just hope people in the industry allow her time to go and complete her studies at the BFA. She worked so hard to achieve that result.
