Grrrr! I'm checking in daily for a release date (It's getting close! It's getting close! So much promotion) and they changed the title back to "The Wanted Detective." I refuse to acknowledge this name 😤

Wonder if this will air before CD or after? Looks like we're getting a double dose of mystery with a dark tones. Spoilt.

Any news on an airing date. Will it be before CW or after? (Surely not at the same time. Back to back would be nice 😁). Looking forward to both. I sense overlapping themes. I just want one to air ASAP. 🙏

She's so elegant. It's annoying we can't post pics on profile / fan pages. Even if they delete the older content after a few months to avoid overload. Many stars are doing such amazing promotional, event, print, and commercial / art work, not to mention, providing plenty of casual, travel, and candid content.

I just completed First Love (2022). Comedic acting is a seriously underrated ability. Impeccable timing. She was brilliant in it. She's really a natural in front of the camera. Consider me a fan.

Lulu nailed her role in NW. Terrific drama. An instant favourite.

All done. Drama! DRAMA! This isn't a drama. It's a brilliant synthesis of modern Rom-Com and old-school Screwball comedy styles (with a little anime humour sprinkled in). There's never a dull moment. I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard 😆. And, to top it all off, the romance (really ROMANCES) was just so lovely and sweet ❤️. C-ent needs to produce more of this stuff. WXY needs to do more of this stuff. I would highly recommend this GEM if you like the comedy types I mentioned.

PS... Did I just become an instant TXW fan? And is this my record time for completing a show? ... Seems like the answer is YES to both.

Yes. I would've loved for this project to have come to life (real talent needs quality and challenging material once in a while to thrive and hone abilities). But there is still much to look forward to for both performers in the near and distant future. So, I'm just happy to be able to follow and support their journeys. 😁

It seems to be confirmed now. I like LHY, so I'm not disappointed. The c-ent rumour mill is always such a wild ride. Sometimes I wonder if they deliberately release names to test the water and gauge audience reaction before finally settling on a cast 🤔. The reaction was probably too heated for an LXY / Ai Mi production to ever get off the ground. However, I'm sure both would have done an outstanding job. In the long run, I would've hated to see scandal damage either career. So, perhaps it was for the best. I've seen so many Western productions, particularly European films, where the content is much more controversial than this, so I really didn't think this would be too bad. However, the reaction on Weibo and MDL was quite strong, suggesting that the story and performances may very well be lost in the controversy. I'm not Chinese, so it is not for me to decide the direction their entertainment / film and arts industry goes. I simply enjoy the privilege of following the journey 😄. In the end, this is the best decision for them.

I'm going to sneak this early WXY drama in-between the big 2025 dramas. He's so young and boyish here. The face and voice are there, but the muscular athletic physique hasn't quite come in yet. Also, this is my first TXW show, so it should be fun.

The rumour mill is always so wild on weibo. Is this official? Is it going to star Wang Xingyue & Xu Ruohan? If so, I'm always happy for WXY (my favourite leading man) & I just recently finished ~ The Best Thing (2025) with XRH. She is very lovely & was terrific in her role opposite ZLH. So, I like this pairing.

2 eps in. So far, so good. Very sweet early on.

All done. Feel good drama of the year so far. What a lovely experience. It seems to capture the essence of life's simple pleasures. 🥰
