They’ve had such a quick pace with this series. I just wonder how that might correlate to its actual airing time since a lot of shows air with far fewer Qs completed. I guess GMMTV really wants to do right by this one.

A Q refers to the filming done at a specific location. So a single Q would consist of multiple scenes shot at the same location, sometimes over the course of multiple days, or just one day (commonly just one, at least as far as I’ve seen). Right now OF is at Q14 of 24, which means they have approximately 10 filming days left.

I thought it had 24Qs?

I think so too! Honestly, if we manage to get Dangerous Romance and Only Friends airing at the same time, I think I might combust. I can't wait for either of them.

With their pace this month, I was assuming they would be able to finish or get close to finishing by month’s end in time for the Tokyo concert…but if the director said late August, maybe they’re going to take their time with the wrap-up.

I believe their episodes overlapped in February

Looking back, I think Moonlight Chicken, Never Let Me Go, and My School President overlapped in scheduling, so maybe more shows will be released in August than we realize

I'm sure they've had two airing at the same time but idk about three. Maybe they'll put this one or Only Friends on hold until the other one (or Hidden Agenda) gets closer to its finale?

There’s word of Only Friends coming out in mid August, so that might take one of those slots. I wonder if gmmtv would air them together? Or try to space them out. In which case DR might come first

This timeframe is so optimistic! I hope he’s right and we can expect some bigger updates at least by the end of the month. And it’s very reassuring that the script has been in development for a long time.

At this point, I’m more inclined to believe OF will have a September release date, but I could see DR releasing in August. There should be some holes in the August schedule that DR could neatly occupy. I think OF could air in late August, potentially, but that’d be pushing it.

I've been pleasantly surprised by DR's filming progress! I think GMMTV needs something really solid to tide over audiences before the end of the year, and this could be it. It also makes more sense to air DR before OF, in my opinion. I only wonder if GMMTV plans to take things slow with OF's production if that is the case, or if both shows will air close enough together that OF needs to keep up a fast pace.

Looking at some other GMMTV projects, it seems the trailers come out two weeks ahead of release, on average. So I really do hope that means we can expect both trailers in July! Fingers crossed.

I also take “really really soon” to mean in the next month, but considering where they appear to be at in filming, that’s probably a bit of a stretch. Idk, I could also see them releasing it before filming is over. I just wish there was a release date to ease all this anticipation!

Khaotung said OF will air “really really soon” but I’m not sure how that factors in. I’d like to think ForceBook were right about August. But I’d think if that’s the case, for both OF and DR, we should be expecting a trailer in the next couple of weeks?

I think they’re filming at a pace where both series could potentially air in Aug/Sep, but they might decide to spread them out since they’re both highly anticipated. And DR seems to be a bit ahead of OF in the Qs, at least as of now.

I’ve known of a few shows where eps were airing while the shooting was wrapping up. It seems more likely that this could happen with DR since GMMTV still has several projects to air in 2023 that are in production or even pre-production. As long as we get the show by the end of this, I can’t complain though lol
