I'm wondering if a show that is a little farther ahead in filming (such as Dangerous Romance) might take BMF's spot, and then this will come a bit later after Hidden Agenda. And that way GMMTV would be spacing out their shows a little bit, especially for their highly anticipated ones to keep up hype.
Been watching the teaser trailer every-freaking-day. I almost have it memorized already.
Me too! Something about it is so enthralling. Perth and Chimon have already shown that they can portray these personalities well just from the trailer.
Wait anyone knows how many Q is there for this?? also how are these Q determined?? Is it a scene or what?
I can't say for certain, but I'd assume between 20 and 25 based on the number of Qs for other series of the same/similar length. To my understanding, a 'Q' is used to label scenes filmed at a particular location. A Q doesn't necessarily mean a single day of shooting, but it could consist of multiple days at the same location. In general, how long a 'Q' lasts seems largely dependent on the shooting, the number of locations, and various factors.
I do remember seeing a rumor that there are 24 Qs for DR. I can't fact check this, but that number makes sense to me. My estimations would place a release date at late August/early September based on that Q number.
Considering they're doing the fittings now, scouting locations, and reporting on meetings, what does that say for the release date of the actual series? Any ideas about when it might come out? I know once GMMTV projects start filming it doesn't necessarily take them too long to release the show after that.
I don’t think they’ve cut out the supernatural stuff. It seems to me like they wanted to showcase the romantic…
Marketing wise, they’ve definitely deviated from the first trailer, but I still can’t help sensing a certain grimness in this trailer that hints at darker themes at play under the surface. And I’m expecting some social commentary as far as the education system. But I know good BLs are notorious for having relatively poor or mediocre trailers that leave out major aspects of plot, so maybe that’s the case here.
Correct me if I am wrong but the first teaser trailer hinted more supernatural and time loop trope where else…
I don’t think they’ve cut out the supernatural stuff. It seems to me like they wanted to showcase the romantic aspect more here since they already introduced the supernatural element in the first trailer and don’t want to risk giving more away. They did offer a little about the eclipse curse (or whatever it is) in this trailer though.
I don’t think they did, there was a hint of the curse but of course not focused on too much. Maybe they didn’t…
I agree; I definitely don't think they chose to cut out the supernatural stuff, they just want to leave the mystery for the actual series. They already hinted at it in the first trailer, so to show any more of it now might be giving too much away. I have faith that this will deliver.
My two cents on the matter: I think there's a specific reason why the first trailer showed the supernatural plot while the second trailer showed more of the romance. The first trailer was about building interest & showcasing the uniqueness of the supernatural element. They've already established that there will be potential sci-fi elements and social commentary, so they flipped the script in the second trailer with a focus on the romance and only hints of this aspect of the plot to show multiple sides of the series. That doesn't mean the actual "eclipse" aspect won't play a large role (it is the title, after all), it's just something they've chosen not to showcase in this trailer since they already did in the first one. That's my interpretation.
