This was helpful because I am on episode 7 and wondering if I should continue. If they don’t clearly have a happy ending then I am good. Moving unto the next drama.
Just finished watching this and enjoyed it. I like how they allowed the females to be strong characters but not entirely overbearing. Like FL effortlessly decide to propose to ML and did it and the second FL practically had hand hold her love interest into doing what he had to do. I like the sub theme of women empowerment and appreciation. One thing though — why did Gam-ri have to die? I think they could have let her stick around to the end. I found her so likable and adorable.
For this episode it was the little things I notice like how come JHS’s foot healed faster than his ear and was Han Seo shot twice in the arm? Also was I the only one anticipating a kiss at the airport? Did they really have torture us with a “wait up” only to settle for a handshake? *rolls eyes*
Ok now! This is the Vicenzo I love to see the badass, cold faced, take no prisoners ex- Consigliere. That said, how does a lowly hit man know where the head huncho lives? That’s bad for business.
I waited till this weekend to watch last week’s episodes to lessen the wait time :-). EP 14: enjoyable! Did Inzaghi of all things/people/birds actually save him? That was so entertaining. And this might sound dark but I was happy to see Vincenzo kill the hit men swiftly and deftly. I was worried he was losing his essence but this shows he was just sensitive to and aware of his environment (Korea vs Italy). Also did JHS reference Gollum of Lord of the Rings. Too funny!
I was dying at that Shaman theatrics. Cha young is a hoot- she couldn’t wait to flex her faux shaman skills. Mr. Nam deserves an award.
I really hope Vincenzo gets closure with his mom soon.
I watched OSN before I watched SITR, and I definitely prefer OSN. I really liked the FL's mom in OSN, but she…
Ditto to everything. I agree with you on the concern about ML’s circumstances in OSN. Generally from how society works, I would expect that if he was female but I guess it’s a stigma regardless. Either the writers wanted to emulate the social repercussions or exaggerated for the sake of the story.
For SITR I think it was mainly the age difference and the idea that they’ve always regarded him as family with nothing much to offer.
I found EP 13 hilarious. The acting was great and comical. Mr Cho’s fighting skills was quite a surprise. It was brief but vicious and well executed. I knew he was up to something but didn’t think he had such skills. Seems V underestimated him for brief moment, had to gather himself and teach him a lesson and it all flowed naturally.
And V’s crying scenes made you empathize with him as you laugh at the situation. Hilarious!
Myung- Hee’s death stares and scowls — my word that woman is something else.
JHS’s acting...just wow!
I am amused at how lightly they take the Mafia and what it stands for. Also did V loose his fight with the pigeon? Too funny.

Just brilliant!
