I’m on episode 16 and can’t stand her. She’s selfish, doesn’t have a backbone, plays the victim card.…
You mean like the period dramas with kings and stuff? If that’s what you mean I recommend you watch “Perfect Match” (is on Netflix US) it’s Chinese but it’s so good. It’s a widow mother with her 5 daughters and they’re all strong FL, specially the younger one.
Chinese drama viewers are so confusing, definitely the best Chinese drama I've ever watched, I can never understand…
I can understand people not liking this drama. In my case (I’m on episode 16 right now) I can’t stand the FL and that’s ruining the series for me to the point that I don’t know if I’ll finish it. The mother and brother are awful but to me she is the worse character.
Fireworks of My Heart is pleasant to watch but heavily marked by propagandistic tones. On the one hand, it glorifies…
Totally agree with you. Well said. The only thing I don’t agree is with the last part “relaxing and enjoyable “. The FL makes my blood boil and my blood pressure spike Hahahhaa I can’t stand her.
What an annoying and rude brother... I'm just so angry at how he treats someone he knows his sister loves, and…
I’m on episode 16 and I think she’s worse than the brother. I can’t stand her. She’s selfish and doesn’t have a backbone. She wants everything to go her way without sacrificing anything for him.
I’m on episode 11 and I seriously dislike the FL. Can’t stand her. She is selfish, has no back bone or personality.…
Also, it’s seems as though her brother (who is not her biological brother) has been in love with her for years. That’s seriously gross, they grew up together.
I’m on episode 11 and I seriously dislike the FL. Can’t stand her. She is selfish, has no back bone or personality. The amount of times her family steps over her boundaries and manipulate her is outstanding. I do understand why her mom did what she did when she was young (I don’t agree in the way she went about it though). I agree in the FL making the decision she made when she was young but after she became an adult, who supports herself, is not cute letting others dictate your life. She is extremely selfish. She broke the dudes heart in the most hurtful way, then comes back years later, keeps begging him to get together knowing that her family is against it and that she will do whatever they want. She disrupts his peaceful life knowing that she is not willing to fight for him and thenplays the victim (to make him feel bad) about all the sacrifice (none at all) she made for him. I don’t know if I can continue watching this because I don’t want him to end up with her. He deserves better. Also, how she and her brother let the mom control them. Two grown people who make their own money. The mom even checks the brothers bank account, like what????? And he puts up with that crap. And don’t get me started in what the writer of this drama did to his best friend.
Just read a comment here saying this is in the same world of Hidden Love (which I absolutely loved) but I don’t…
You explained it so well why people enjoyed it. I don’t like slow-burns too much (maybe that’s why i found it boring) but you are right, the way he was patient with her and became a safe space. she did get stronger and comfronted some people by the end. I liked that part.
I watched the whole thing and didn’t like it. Found it boring and frustrating. I didn’t find her passive though,…
Hahaha I’m the same way. Yes at the beginning she was, you’re right, the last episodes she gets better but I personally don’t think the series is worth a watch.
I don’t understand the high rating on this. It was extremely boring and frustrating. It has no business been…
Just read a comment here saying this is in the same world of Hidden Love (which I absolutely loved) but I don’t understand how when none of the actors are the same and the parents house is not the same either.
at what ep does it get better? i so badly wanna like this bc i like the lead actors and the visuals are fireeee…
I watched the whole thing and didn’t like it. Found it boring and frustrating. I didn’t find her passive though, she tells off the people that were awful to her.
