Yes, I watched K version and it's very good...in fact excellent from what I saw. But that excellent is in comparison of other Korean show not in comparison of J version. I dropped it.
Overall I'd give it an 8 but if I compare it with J version then it's like 5 :)

Personally I don't know anything expect relation of China-India-Tibet-Nepal-Bhutan. I can tell about other Asian countries but that's just from newspapers & news sites & observations.
