English Vinglish is definitely a very good movie! Something unusual for a Bollywood movie, it was a pleasant surprise.
Try OMG, it's something special movie for me because it has a very brave theme. I salute makers for making this movie ^^

Yes Chennai Express. I don't think it's great. From what I heard it's 'masala' family entertainer. I'm a fan of SRK but his previous movies were disappointing.
I think that thread has only films from 2012-13 so if you still want movies from other years then ask me anytime :)
FYI: I'm Indian but I don't think I'm reliable source for Bollywood movies...check IMDB for more recommendations ^^

Honestly I'm not a Bollywood fan but I admit that it tends to give at least one or two good movies from time to time and that's enough for me :)

Yes Mother India is remake of a 40's film Aurat by same director (I think). But Mother India is much more popular, also on global scale it's more popular.
If liked Dil Chahta Hai then you'll like 3-Idiots, Rang De Basanti and oldies like Yaarana.

Nope not at all...still in major slump. In between I enjoyed two wonderful gems Orange Days and Alone In Love. I loved Alone in Love more.

Sorry to disappoint you, there is nothing to watch in Indian dramas, all are too ridiculous and mind sickening :(
Many of them started with great themes but later they turns into extremely bad lengthy shows with nonsense twists and turns...my advice...STAY AWAY IF YOU NEVER SEEN ANY INDIAN DRAMA!
However, I can recommend some great sitcoms if you like to try them :)

First try all of them you mentioned, they all are great! I've some in mind just tell me genre.

Great show up to ep 17-18...later I tried too hard to go through a single ep...put on hold...after lots of tries I reached to 24...but THIS IS IT! It was indeed a great great show! But I'm not curious about its story and ending...I was entertained a lot and that's important...so a 9!!
Few episodes has some epic scenes!

But I don't have any plans to watch it. After going through AiL I'm fully saturated. If I start anything it'll end up in dropped list :D
Also I don't like the way So Ji Sub acts...makes show boring.
