True and the titles differ. I rely on just looking at the cover pictures to determine whether or not I’ve watched it.

Same. I really care about plot and hate when they fall off half way through. Which is a usual problem I’ve noticed with some of the newer Cdramas because they tend to focus more on casting good looking actors and a great start then they lose the plot later on or it just becomes meh.

Yeah I’ve seen the lower ratings and they basically state everything I anticipated from this drama. At least now I know for sure what to expect and won’t get mad because it doesn’t live up to the hype I was expecting. I won’t watch it now though. Maybe in the next few years when the hype reduces.

Yeah I’ll give it a try, but I tend to prefer older Cdramas to the newer ones. Also I mainly prefer Xianxia that’s why I know I won’t like this one much. And from some of the reviews I’m seeing, it’s just as I expected.

The last time I watched a Cdrama that was hyped like this, I was greatly disappointed. I’m not going to expect much from this for my own sanity.

I wasn’t planning to watch this drama because I anticipated that the plot wouldn’t be strong and the focus would just be on pretty actors. I’ve noticed this happening in a lot of Cdramas lately where the actors’ looks come first, then the wardrobe is secondary and finally the plot. I’ve dropped a lot because of this. After reading your review, I’m definitely not going to watch it. Thank you for saving me the time and data I would have used. I get irritated easily when it comes to such so from what you’re describing, I would have been annoyed. I guess I’ll just stick to watching older dramas.

I think this was the first vertical cdrama I ever watched on DramaBox and it had me fuming every single episode. I only watched it to the end because they were hot. The ending? atrocious!

I was reminiscing about old Cdramas that I loved and actors that I adored then Li Yi Feng came to mind so I decided to check up on him since it’s been a while since I’ve seen or heard of him and this is the news I find?! Smh what a shame.
