I didn't check this out in 2015 due to the negative reviews & the casting didn't attract, but I pick it up to see more Hyun Bin whilst waiting for the next episode of Memories of the Alhambra. It did made me appreciate Alhambra so much more as I cringed at the choice of Gu Seo Jin's gay home attires, lol.
Story-wise, it shouldn't have gone for as long as 20 episodes. The real villain was predictable and the revenge arc went on for a way too long, and it ended quite unsatisfyingly. Once this is over, I don't know why the writer decides to focus more on Robin instead of Seo Jin, who was a more complex and interesting and layerred character to explore. Nonetheless, I still cried along with the others sending off he-who-shall-not-be-named-watch-it-for-yourself.
Acting performances-wise, Hyun Bin was excellent, and the other two that stood out was Sung Joon and actor Lee Seung Jun, who played Seo Jin's secretary. It's awkward to see him in here and then see him as Director Park in Alhambra. But he and Hyun Bin have good rapport since this show, which was a bonus for Alhambra.
Although general public preferred Kill Me Heal Me, but I find it's exaggerated in some instances due to the 7 personalities. Hyde Jekyll & Me is more realistic and relatable in this sense, it's just that the story-telling faltered in the second half.
I saw Doctors, then I saw Temperature of Love... Temperature of Love was great & beautiful for the first 10 (or 20) episodes, but everything went downhill after. She then published the script and revealed Hyun Soo did indeed have feelings for Jung Woo (in which the drama itself didn't explicit show but hinted at it); it completely ruined Hyun Soo's character.
I don't think we wanna meet each other again, Ha Myung Hee, because I can't guarantee you will be alive.
"With Love" is my forever love. I'd never forget the charismatic and charming Hasegawa Takashi (Hata-san)! Die for that long hair...
What amazes me the most is Yutaka still remained the only long-standing all time Japanese crush. Even though I'm not crazy for him, but he always have a special place in my heart :)
Would love to see him and Amami return with BOSS 3.
