A Cute, No-Nonsense Teenage Romance, All Fluff!!

GMMTV steps into the threshold of teenage romance with their new show “Boys in Love”. If you are looking for a show, along the lines of “Make It Right”, “Love Sick 2019” or the current 2025 version, then I don’t think you will be disappointed. The show is no- nonsense, fluffy romance happening in the midst of a school revolution where the Principal has forsaken the old rule of wearing school uniforms. Obviously there are divided opinions, the teachers don’t support his decision while the kids are having a field day wearing whatever they want. Caught in the midst of this social reform is our very studious, very diligent protagonist, Shane. He is dedicated, disciplined and socially awkward. Best caricature of a bookworm who only lives and breathes to better his scores. He lives with his super lazy siblings who don’t contribute much and instead rely on Shane to manage the household needs. Self reliant, Shane has never had any fun or enjoyed his life, being saddled with responsibility. This isn’t just his story, the show neatly packs four different romances in the entirety of each episode. They are riveting, intriguing, and we are seated to watch their individual growth as they embark on a new journey!
